Not me, but I doubt I'm Perry's target audience. It's interesting to note that the major cities in Texas (Houston, Dallas, Austin, etc) usually vote Democrat on major elections. It's the hick areas outside those cities that politicians can play up to.

Obviously it doesn't apply to every Texan. I just find it interesting that banging on such a meaningless drum would garner votes. Enough surely to say, "I do not agree with federal government on this issue" because that is what it amounts to.
