That happens. Hair can turn white very quickly.

The most common reason I know of is shock (although this is probably not the case in regards to your nipple hair). You know in the old cartoons when their hair turns white instantly when they see a ghost? That actually can happen.

I do know of one boy who I went to high school with whose hair turned white overnight. He dropped some acid one night with some friends and woke up with quite a bit of white hair. He had to dye his hair back to brown for a while and his natural color did come back.

As far as why this happens- it really isn't known yet.

It's pure hell growing older, but I guess it beats dying. Now I have hair growing out of my ears, nose, and will be blinded if I don't trim my eyebrows. I still like that clean cut look, just a lot more work to get it.

In my accident, had a hunk of skin torn from my nose, the plastic surgeon took a piece of skin from my neck to patch it, looks pretty good, but now I have whiskers growing out of that piece of skin. Was pulling those out with a tweezers at first, but they keep on growing back, so just resorted to shaving the side of my nose. So you think you have problems? Just wear a shirt or a bikini top at the beach.

Don't even know why I bother shaving, it all grows back the next day and have to shave again. When alone, would leave it alone and let it grow, but my wife does not like the feel of wire bristles against her sensitive face, so she made a rule. No shave, no play, so at least that gives a reason to shave.

But not as bad as being a woman, they have lots of areas to shave, one of those instances where you should give your woman, privacy.
