My fiance received her Packet 3 from Mumbai Embassy finally.

Sher has some questions which I am posting here.

1) in packet 3 ,for heading they have written k1 visa and below in description they have written k3 visa what does it means?

2) from where we get the ds 156 form?

3) in form ds 230 part 1 they need information about my spouse but i m applying for k1 fiance visa, so does she put my name (i am her fiance), or leave it blank?

4) now after getting p3 what exact documents i should submit at vsf office?

5) the form i-134,affidavit of support should be filled up by my fiance residing in US then what the sent it to me ,what i should do with that?

6) full name in native alphabet what does it mean?

Thanks - i know these have been answered here in various manners but hope answers to these will help others as well.

1. Probably a typo. If she is worried, she can probably call the embassy and mention the typo just to make sure that it was just a mistake on the letter.

2. http://evisaforms.state.gov/ <-ds156. It has to be filled out on the internet and printed out using the instructions on the website. I believe that she will need 2 copies for the interview. She should probably print out more than two copies just in case.

3. Put 'not applicable' or 'none'. You are not married and if they think that you are, even if it is to your fiancee, than she is not eligible for a K-1 visa

4. Not sure...

5. She brings it to the interview.

6. For example, people who live in China or Japan who do not use our alphabet are required to write their names in the Chinese or Japanese characters. Unless she does not use our alphabet to write her name, do not worry about it.
