Anyhow have a great day everyone....I will certainly try too.

Happy Friday everyone

I'm studying for my driver's liscence I want to get that out of the way before I have the baby so hopefully I would pass. I know this will sound weird but I get scared driving here because of all the laws, in Egypt you just go with the flow

Angie- CONGRATULATIONS!!! why was she denied the first time? My mom had her interview july 15th and her case is still pending so we still have some hope that she would be approved!

this week has sucked so bad i'm glad it's almost over though computer problems at home have consumed my morning and are contributing to the suckness of the week. I have x amount of things to get done before my vacation starts and these computers are not helping me. grrrrrr

had jury duty yesterday. twas a rape case and guess what....when it was time for the judge to question me on why i am bias about the case i asked, "must i state it in a microphone in front of the defendent, et. al.???" to which i was told, yes. Actually it wasn't a real rape case but a case against this defendent stating that he should not be able to be in the general public because he was prone to raping women. (kind of a weirdass case if ya ask me but then i don't know all the details since i was finally exempt). So I was made to humiliate myself in front of an accused and convicted rapist along with the lawyers, stenographer, judge and officers and had to state publically that I was raped at age 8 and molested from that point until I was in my teens. #######. I absolutely hate the legal system now.

as i said this week has sucked totally.

oh and note to all, before embarking on a fight with your mena man/woman make sure it's not a language thing 'cause it could totally waste a day or two by filling it with sorrow instead of love.

*sigh*

did i mention my basement has about 4 inches of water in it and some clothes of mine are now destroyed?

My BIL is having a blast. He loves it here and has made many friends already. I'm beating off the girls at this point....its amazing how much a person can change in 1.5 years! I left Egypt he was my "little" BIL and he is now a man....Ughhh. I'm still in shock. :P He's such a great help around the house and the babies adore him!!! Thanks for asking!! (F)
