Are you talking about asking you mother to visit for a month or two or something else ? She will not be able to get a visa to some as your babysitter as there are plenty of people here that can do that .

This will not be over quickly. You will not enjoy this.

You can not file to bring your mother here to live until you are a US Citizen. Your mother could apply for a tourist visa but she would have to have very strong ties to her home country, like property, job, bank accounts. She would not get a tourist visa to come here to look after your child.

If she gets a tourist visa, she can stay for up to 6 months. You/ your USC husband can send a letter of invitation indicating that you'll pay for any expenses, and if you do, do NOT say she is coming to babysit, as she is not allowed to "work" on the tourist visa. Instead, say she is coming to see her new grandbaby and her daughter.

Your mother must apply for the visa by herself to the US embassy, and as was mentioned, must show strong ties to her country and that she will be returning, such as a job, bank accounts, family ties, property etc.

In that case, you should wait until you get citizenship, and then apply for a green card for your mother. Citizenship for you will be about 4 years after you get green card, and a green card for her about 1 year after that. Once she has the GC, she needs to live in the US most of the time, but can go home to morocco 3-4 months a year with no problems.
