Do you talk to your spouse while she is going to the bathroom?

I'll stand outside the bathroom door and talk to her. After a while she gets annoyed and asks why I'm doing that and I respond, "Because you're a captive audience and can't run away."

I yell through the door if I really need to talk to her and it can't wait, but it's the smell that keeps me away, which usually lasts about an hour after she's exited the bathroom....unless she's charitable enough to light a candle.

This is a non issue for us...neither one of our $hits stink! :P

Oh, I know mine does, but I can't run from it.

Door hinges can be easily removed.

Don't just open your mouth and prove yourself a fool....put it in writing.

It gets harder the more you know. Because the more you find out, the uglier everything seems.

Definitely not holding a convo when he is in the bathroom or vice versa. And we will NEVER call each other to look at what is left in the bowl. I seriously do not get couples who do that.

My brother once asked me to do that. True enough, he put that toilet into therapy.

I would have giving him a nice slug in the shoulder for that one.

I suffer from labour pain everytime I go for potty, so my husband does come to give me his support and crack some jokes, he also reminds me to take lexative. I on the other hand stay away when he is in the bathroom, I am those ewww--eek type of a person, he doesn't mind me staying away. It is a non-issue for us.

Oh and if anytime we need plumbing, he does the dirty work, even if the clogging was caused by me.

i used to too but then I stopped drinking milk and I don't anymore..

my fiance cant stay in the bathroom long enough to discuss anything when I am on the throne... we have no privacy issues.. just that we have limits to what we can take....

I wish it was that easy for me, for starters I don't drink milk. I try to get as much fiber as possible, but nothing seems to help. Oh well.

My wife had a similar problem, from before she got here. I put her on probiotics for a couple months, and got her to switch to brown rice. Since she doesn't like raw greens, that was the only way to get the unsoluble fiber into her diet. She does love fresh fruit and that helps. The change in diet got her off the laxitives.
