Hubby gives me more than five minutes...I think you're being too harsh on your wife.

We have privacy...we also have togetherness...pretty good balance I would say. Is that enough information for you?

The time is just a prop used figuratively. I don't literally mean 5 minutes. My point is, each spouse deserves a little private time alone in the ol sh!tter.

So, is 20 minutes long enough for you to take care of business?

The time comment I made was purely sarcasm...or didn't you get that >>>>

Besides, do you really think I would share that with you and everyone else here?

I yell through the door if I really need to talk to her and it can't wait, but it's the smell that keeps me away, which usually lasts about an hour after she's exited the bathroom....unless she's charitable enough to light a candle.

Or a match. Keep a matchbox nearby.

Seriously... if you want to keep your SO on a leash at home make them go in with a cellphone and talk if the ventilation system (if you got one) will allow it. Beats yelling.

Wishing you ten-fold that which you wish upon all others.

Do you talk to your spouse while she is going to the bathroom?, Is anything too personal or private in the relationship

I tried to talk my husband while he's in the bathroom but he dislike it because he's not comfortable me talking to him while he is doing jingle, he said he can't pee if I'm watching and talking to him. :secret: too much info??.

I give him privacy when he read his book or using computer I will not bother him.

I intentionally added noisy fans to my bathrooms as disposal of digested food is accompanied at times with other undesirable noises. This is augmented by switching on a hair dryer, a boom box, or even having a full live 101 piece symphonic orchestra in your bathroom playing the end of the 1812 overture.

So if you come knocking on my bathroom doors, you better be prepared to knock pretty hard.

Wife has been picking up some slang from her co-workers on the need to use the restroom, just told her, just go, I don't have to be informed about that. Or she just can say, nature is calling.

I suffer from labour pain everytime I go for potty, so my husband does come to give me his support and crack some jokes, he also reminds me to take lexative. I on the other hand stay away when he is in the bathroom, I am those ewww--eek type of a person, he doesn't mind me staying away. It is a non-issue for us.

Oh and if anytime we need plumbing, he does the dirty work, even if the clogging was caused by me.
