please help. I'm about to file for removal of conditions. However , me and spouse have never filed for taxes jointly. Is it going to be a problem if I do not submit them? Here is the list of evidence I have :

1. rental lease 2008-09

2. two affidavits from close friends

3. My wife listed as beneficiary in my 401 k

4. pictures of us in different settings e.g trip to Vegas, beach bbq etc

5. joint bank statements 2007-2009

6. joint electric bills

7. joint water bill 2009

8. department store cards with same account number

9. my spouses credit card bill ( not a joint bill)

10. my spouses cell phone bill (not joint bill)

11. Joint phone bill 2009

12. car insurance with both names 2007-09

Actually it looks very decent.

Maybe send in taxes where it says how many people in the household, where it asks about dependable or if you are married.

Agree with Twomoles. If your taxes reflect your 'married' status, then they will help to send them in. Use a highlighter to highlight that if you do.

she filed as 'head of household' and I filed as 'married but filing separately'. The reason we did it this way was one of us was going to owe.

Looks like a great list. If I were to add anything, it might be mail addressed jointly to both of you, or mail to same address but sent to you and your spouse respectively.

Did not file taxes jointly because your spouse doesn't work? If so, your tax returns should feature the same address yes? If so, good idea to include them. Good luck!
