Ok, I found out we got an RFE for missing info on DS 230. She said checklist wont be emailed for 3-5 business days :( my question is, does this RFE mean they wont proceed with the I864? I mean will they wait until they get the DS230 all corrected and THEN do the AOS? Or could they do the AOS checks while I'm sorting out whatever I did wrong on the DS230? Does this make any sense? I guess I'm more worried that there will be something wrong with the AOS rather than the DS230. I can easily get whatever is missing from my husband, but asking my dad for more would be a nightmare as he isn't happy about being a sponsor in the first place. Ok, I hope it makes sense and PLZZ reply me???

well if you know what your RFE might be, just get a head start and refill the form, send it right after the RFE is printed.

The DS 230 and AOs are two different forms for which you paid two different fees.

One will not stop the other but it will stop the whole process from completion at NVC

I just went through the same thing..Recording told me "Missing Info" was mailed on 7/9.

date changed 3 times..7/9 then 7/11/then 7/22.

I received the Email on 7/21, and they received my reply on 7/23.

I believe mine was delayed because the Lawyer had the wrong Email address.

I also asked about my I-864. They had already reviewed it. They will not approve/disapprove the I-864, they just check to see if everything is included in I-864. The Embassy decides if you meet the sponsorship guidelines.

If your assets don't meet 125% poverty, NVC will recommend a joint sponsor, even if you have adequate assets, but always up to the CO to approve/disapprove.

If NVC has your Email address, you will get the details soon.

Good Luck!
