For a limited time, Pepsi and Mountain Dew are offering consumers a taste of the past with their own versions of Throwback, two new limited time only products inspired by the ’60s and ’70s, sweetened with natural sugar in a retro-looking package.

Anyone try this yet? I saw it at the store today, but I'm not a Pepsi drinker. I'm curious though.

I like Pepsi, but haven't seen it. ( or haven't noticed) Actually, I don't drink a lot of pop, as I prefer water, but I would try it if I saw some.

We've had the Mountain Dew. It tastes sweeter than the corn syrup MD, and I didn't think that was even possible. It was pretty good.

Have I tried it, where do I start. It's the freagin best pepsi I have had. My wife doesn't even drink soda and she is hooked. I bought out target's stock because it's a limited time promotion.

I have not tried the moutain dew version. It only has four Ingredients, like the old days, without all of that ####### they now put in.

PS I'm a coke fan.

According to the Internal Revenue Service, the 400 richest American households earned a total of $US138 billion, up from $US105 billion a year earlier. That's an average of $US345 million each, on which they paid a tax rate of just 16.6 per cent.

Is it any more expensive than regular? I agree that putting a bunch of chemicals in soda is totally unecessary and ruins it. I am not a big soda drinker, but the odd one is cool.

I have put you on ignore. No really, I have, but you are still ruining my enjoyment of this site. .

I looked at the price because I thought it would be more expensive. It was $4.18 for a 12 pack.

It tastes like it did way back in the 70's (if you can remember that) - but the Pepsi seems a bit "flat" with the real sugar in it. (it doesn't *pop* like the HFCS does...

Mountain dew is pretty good. (no *pop* on this one - but not so flat)

My Advice is usually based on "Worst Case Scenario" and what is written in the rules/laws/instructions. That is the way I roll... -Protect your Status - file before your I-94 expires.

Oh, I might like it then. I can't stand HFCS, it tastes icky, and I don't like pop really fizzy, could be a win win.

Ah, they are also launching 'pepsi natural' which will be a more expensive natural ingredient version. That's kinda neat.

I prefer non-HFCS Coke. I might taste the Pepsi version as long as it comes with pizza. Haven't found any yet though.

Either way I avoid soda/pop. Working in the metabolism field I have become extremely conscious of what excess glucose feels like.

Wishing you ten-fold that which you wish upon all others.

Yup. bought it and excited about it. Tastes better and no icky high fructose corn syrup... It was the first time in a very long time that I had a soda. I don't drink anything with HFCS...

I don't know regular prices for soda, but a pack of cans runs $3.50 at the local Walmart (current promo though). I bought up like 10 packs to stock up
