A friend of mine mentioned the other day that waiting for an immigrant visa is worse than being pregnant, because at least with pregnancy you have a DUE DATE!! Visas are a mystery!

I just sent my I-130 in july and got my NOA notice date for July 30th. So we are BARELY july filers. :) Like that makes much difference. Good luck to ALL OF US who are waiting for our spouses to be granted entry into our country.

Lets keep in touch. Its so nice to have company!

2009-07-22 : I-130 Sent

2009-07-31 : I-130 NOA1

2009-10-26 : I-130 RFE (OMG! How could I forget to send the original marriage certificate!?!?!? I only sent translated copy).

2009-10-27 : 130 RFE Sent

2009-11-28 : 130 NOA2

NVC

2009-12-15 : receive case number

2009-12-31 : Paid AOS fee ($70)

2010-01-05 : fee showed PAID

2010-01-07 : sent DS3032

2010-01-11 : NVC received DS3032

2010-01-13 : Sent AOS paperwork

2010-00-00 : NVC RFE (tax info incomplete/incorrect)

2010-03-09 : Hubby sends DS-230 packet priority mail

2010-03-12 : I paid IV bill ($400)

2010-03-15 : fee showed PAID

2010-03-17 : Packet arrives at NVC

2010-03-24 : Husband has advanced medical exam

2010-03-27 : Case in review at NVC per AVR...(gee, took long enough to get in system).

2010-00-00 : LOG IN FAILED!! (yippee!)

2010-00-00 : Hubby attends interview in Rio de Janeiro!

2010-00-00 : Receives Visa!

2010-00-00 : Arrives at POE in United States.. together at last!!!!!

hahaha.. I agree with you.. i am now pregnant, so i know when the baby delivered hehehe..

but we need to be more patients for this stuffs :-)

Aug 16, 2013 - AOS Pay

It finally did!

you did? :) i know it's out there somewhere because we already have the WAC# from the bank when uscis cashed his check. i'm just not sure where uscis sent it. cos my hubby put his apartment address on the form BUT his PO Box on the cover letter. we keep arguing about it. i told him they will probably mail it to his apartment. he kept saying to his PO Box cos that's what's on the cover letter. also cos he lives alone and no one is home all day to receive the thing. *sigh*

the wait is killing me. and i thought i was patient :blush: i keep checking uscis website but it's still not there.

How long has it been since you mailed it in and they cashed the check? When you check on the website it's still not showing up? I hope you get it soon!!

08-01-2009 - we mailed the package

08-03-2009 - they received the package

08-10-2009 - they cashed the check

and up to now no NOA1 hardcopy and it's still not showing up on their website :(

it's been 18 days since we mailed it, 16 days since they got it, 9 days since they cashed the check.

Have you gone to the uscis website and created an account for your receipt number? Maybe they would have more information about it that way. I can see why you are worried!! but still, they cashed the check!!

Hi all... Just found this thread... I filed on July 18th and got the NOA1 with a receipt date of July 23rd (it's @ the California Service Center).. have been checking USCIS's site... still not 'touched' ... hoping to get NOA2 around late September/early November after looking around this site and past USCIS NOA2 approval data... Does that seem right?

Well they average wait time as California for I-130's is 5 months. So by that logic, you will probably be receiving your NOA2 around December. It can come quicker but they normally tell you 5 months.
