Did you call for NVC number or wait? I am not sure the point in calling if we need to wait for the barcode.

[hello everyone....this is really a long processsssssss. but love waits :dance:

Arent you a mushball today! Only 3 more days! Woo hoo,

It's already Saturday here, my husband called NVC yesterday (nine days after our approval) and they said it takes 2-4 weeks, pah, so starting on Monday he's going to call them daily until he gets the number...

David, you're very soppy today!! Only 11 more days until I see my hubby :D :D

I have only seen it written so I assumed it was a poem. I've never heard you sing. Guess I'll have to get you drunk!

Karaoke bar here comes the Scot!

Our timeline:

2/88: We met in Sydney, Australia at a youth hostel! He's Finnish, I'm American-both were in our early 20s at the time and fresh out of college (so couldn't afford to visit each other's countries after that!). We had a three-day romance, then went our separate ways. He actually was going to Sydney a week later, but decided at the last minute to cut his trip short in another country and go early. Wow.

1988-1998: Wrote "snail mail" letters/sent Xmas cards, but lived our separate lives. I married someone else, divorced in 2006...he lived with someone for years and then that ended.

10/08: Because of a series of random life events, I Googled my Finn Man and found him (but no link to his email, and the website his name was on was in Estonian so I couldn't even read it!). It took me two weeks to find a link to someone else, who forwarded my email to him (we were both single at the time thankfully!!!!). The email went to his spam folder but he happened to check it that day and responded back to me immediately! This was after 10 years of no contact and almost 21 years of not seeing each other after we first met.

11/08-5/09: We traveled back and forth to visit each other. Love at first (second?) sight!

7/09: Married in Helsinki, Finland...after meeting randomly 21 1/2 years ago and finding each other again!!!!!

8/13/09: I-130 sent!!!!!!!!!

Rest is on my timeline!

01/09/2012 - I-751 delivered at 11:12am / Date of NOA1

01/12/2012 - Check cashed

01/14/2012 - Received NOA1 hard copy

01/20/2012 - Date of ASC Appointment letter

01/25/2012 - Received ASC Appointment letter hard copy

02/07/2012 - Biometrics done

03/06/2012 - CR1 expiration

06/13/2012 - Date ROC approved

06/15/2012 - Ordered new card production

06/19/2012 - USCIS mailed the new card

06/21/2012 - Got approval letter and my 10 year GC in the mail (GC expires 06/15/2022)

12/09/2014 - Sent N-400 package

12/13/2014 - N-400 delivered at 10:13 am

12/15/2014 - Date of NOA

12/16/2014 - Date NOA was received by USCIS

12/22/2014 - Received NOA (hard copy) in the mail

12/30/2014 - Date of Yellow Letter

01/04/2015 - Received yellow letter in the mail

01/07/2015 - Biometrics appointment

01/09/2015 - In line for the interview

01/16/2015 - Received interview letter in the mail

He is going to Knightsbridge for Medical and London interview. I was sorta hoping to get them done in one trip but it is seeming unlikely.

I’m sorry if my wife (Señora Bonita) has confused you about the medical question. Well, to explain things, she had a medical exam 8 months ago in connection with a fiancée visa application that we applied for. The fiancée visa application was later withdrawn and now we have to go through the CR-1 route.

2009-12-15 : receive case number

2009-12-31 : Paid AOS fee ($70)

2010-01-05 : fee showed PAID

2010-01-07 : sent DS3032

2010-01-11 : NVC received DS3032

2010-01-13 : Sent AOS paperwork

2010-00-00 : NVC RFE (tax info incomplete/incorrect)

2010-03-09 : Hubby sends DS-230 packet priority mail

2010-03-12 : I paid IV bill ($400)
