I am beginning to feel like the last kid picked at recess in the school yard.:cry::crying:

It looks like treehugger and us are the only ones from July still waiting!

Technically we are august cos they go by when the NOA1 was sent.

We might be the last ones but look at the prize you get at the end of it. Me! You lucky lucky girl.

I thought they went by when we filed which was July.

Yeah, just keep reminding me how this will all be worth it cos some days I forget and just feel sad. :crying:

Abbie, you probably can access your case number at the NVC now too!! I keep checking my on the automated-voice phone recording but of course mine hasn't been given a case number yet!! Congrats again!!!

yeah? i have been wondering. how do we find out our NVC case number?

They say it takes approximately 2 weeks before a case number is issued. I don't have mine yet.

oh thanks senorita bonita :) do we call them for it though?

Abbie,

Have your husband call (603)334-0700 That is the automated phone number and just follow the prompts for entering the reciept number on your NOAs from the california center..you know the WACnumber and it will tell you the info!!!

I am sure since yours was dated on the 18th(?) it should be in there!!

Let me know!!!

~Andrea

I just came back from the food and wine festival at EPCOT and it was hot!!!! I don't know what they said the temperature was today but wow we are all fried!!! There was alot of good food there though!!!!! I got sunburnt and I was using an umbrella that I bought from the China kiosk!!!

Love Disney though!! Everyone in my family has an annual pass there including my daughter and her husband....We're all Disney nuts!!!

My dtr is waiting to see if she got the internship at Disney. She will spend next semester there if she was approved and we would have to pay her a visit!

That is great!! I tried to get my daughter to try to do an internship there but she thought that is it was too close to home and I would be there all the time :o) She was right!! I would have been :P

Well if she gets it and we can get airfare we will be there!

I hope someone gets in tomorrow and finds our file and works on it. Time is standing still.

Hey Scot people, you can also jump in the August filers thread anytime!

Our timeline:

2/88: We met in Sydney, Australia at a youth hostel! He's Finnish, I'm American-both were in our early 20s at the time and fresh out of college (so couldn't afford to visit each other's countries after that!). We had a three-day romance, then went our separate ways. He actually was going to Sydney a week later, but decided at the last minute to cut his trip short in another country and go early. Wow.

1988-1998: Wrote "snail mail" letters/sent Xmas cards, but lived our separate lives. I married someone else, divorced in 2006...he lived with someone for years and then that ended.

10/08: Because of a series of random life events, I Googled my Finn Man and found him (but no link to his email, and the website his name was on was in Estonian so I couldn't even read it!). It took me two weeks to find a link to someone else, who forwarded my email to him (we were both single at the time thankfully!!!!). The email went to his spam folder but he happened to check it that day and responded back to me immediately! This was after 10 years of no contact and almost 21 years of not seeing each other after we first met.

11/08-5/09: We traveled back and forth to visit each other. Love at first (second?) sight!

7/09: Married in Helsinki, Finland...after meeting randomly 21 1/2 years ago and finding each other again!!!!!

8/13/09: I-130 sent!!!!!!!!!

Rest is on my timeline!

I believe the IV fee email will be sent after your DS-3032 is accepted from NVC. It seems this is taking some time after the DS-3032 is sent.

Correct of both counts.

Some people have been waiting over a week after sending the DS-3032 for the IV bill to be generated. We're at 4 days right now.

You've got to talk to an operator. Operator's seem to have the latest info. AVR seems to be updated late. It took exactly 14 days for my packet to reach NVC.

Good luck!!
