Q: If the first responding officer had been Black, would the Professors immediate reaction been different?

If so, what does that say about the Professor?

Who do you think is in a position to answer this question, Danno?

Not being able to read the guy's mind we're left with pure conjecture (in other words, what people want to believe).

Which in many cases, lends itself to whatever kind of logic and assumptions we want to make.

Wishing you ten-fold that which you wish upon all others.

Bull #######. It's a legitimate question. In order to battle future racism claims, maybe only black officers should respond to calls involving black males.

According to the Internal Revenue Service, the 400 richest American households earned a total of $US138 billion, up from $US105 billion a year earlier. That's an average of $US345 million each, on which they paid a tax rate of just 16.6 per cent.

Mind-reading is "legitimate"

That's a good one - would fly in court that would.

Not.

In your mind, clearly, only Caucasians (ironically such as yourself) can be racist and opportunist. Whereas, minorities by default must only have the best of intentions.

After all, it is various minorities themselves who regularly state and I quote "you don't get black culture". Or are you suggesting that considering you might not pull such a thing, that nobody else would think of exploiting a situation for their own self gain.

It's not a legitimate question in these circumstances. We are not owed an answer from those who can give us one, and we will not get one, therefore the 'pure conjecture' is what we are left with. No agenda can be pushed on conjecture.

Refusing to use the spellchick!

I have put you on ignore. No really, I have, but you are still ruining my enjoyment of this site. .

In your mind - assuming the point of view of individuals and how they might behave in a given set of circumstances is a legitimate way of addressing a wider topic.

You've proven it here - by a ridiculous assumption of what you think my views on this subject are. You are, of course, quite wrong - but you don't want to hear that.

Bullcrap. Obama is supposedly raising a private army of 20 million somewhere in the NE and right-wing nutjobs are mobilizing based on that conjecture alone.

Legitimately, obviously. Each conjecture builds a fantasy that serves no one well.

It is a legitimate question as this guy could have very well used the situation to promote his own cause. That is, made something out of nothing. The facts do lead to this concussion considering his second comment was one branding the police a racist.

BY, you can pose the question all you like but you can't get an answer that will provide a basis for further constructive comment.

Considering I am wrong, surely, you have evidence of your own to prove that he wasn't taking advantage of the situation. Until proven wrong, any and every angle is valid.
