I'm getting ready to buy tickets to MNL and have been shopping for a few weeks. I'm glad it worked out that I had to wait to buy them!! For travel dates starting August 7th - November 30th, they are having a promo - $550 USD + tax, from LAX to MNL!! That's $606.70 total! I'll be booking tomorrow Tickets have to be purchased no later than July 31st.

Cheaper than I got mine for last month, but I have since found EVA prices and wish I flew out of LA because it is about $400 for a 1 way ticket and 590 round trip LAX - MNL

Yeah last time I went to Philippines I went EVA Air. It was a really nice airlines and cheapest I could find. They even made sure someone who was late got on the plane. Sure we left late but we actually got there early.
