well, you're usually allowed a small quantity...

see: http://www.tsa.gov/311/index.shtm

ETA: the restriction is for your carry-on... you may have bigger bottles in the luggage you don't bring in the cabin.

When we travelled back from Canada a year ago Christmas the woman in front of me was pulled out of the line and her suitcase opened. She had full sized bottles of shampoo, perfume, lotions, etc. They confiscated all of them and threw them away. They are strict about what they allow. You are required to have your 1 quart size clear plastic bag with 3 oz sized containers and smaller of whatever liquids and gels you are taking on board out unless they are in your checked luggage. I don't remember the restrictions for checked luggage but they will be posted on the airlines websites.

“...Isn't it splendid to think of all the things there are to find out about? It just makes me feel glad to be alive--it's such an interesting world. It wouldn't be half so interesting if we knew all about everything, would it? There'd be no scope for imagination then, would there?”

I've read it already, but I was just thinking if someone in here has actually done it and curious what will happen. Because from the country where I am from, though it's the law, it was not really strictly implemented. So I was wondering how strict are they in here.

Then you should look for the regulation in your country...

* Liquids are soooo dangerous that security agents throw all the confiscated bottles in the same container :whistle:
