This company will give a family insurance for about $300/month. With a 6 month waiting period even pre-existing conditions are covered. Tell me that we need a government run health care system. The options are there if a person wants them.

In my state it would be closer to $400.

If we bought that coverage, in our current financial condition, I would be earning less than minimum wage.

rj ... I'll be honest and state I've not read all this thread ...

have you ever been without insurance?

do you now have insurance at a resonable cost?

what are you willing to pay to keep your current level of insurance?

well ... she will answer ... or ... silence will be the answer ...

I hear crickets ....

Natty why would you ask such questions only to 4 minutes later make a joke of it "hearing crickets". She answered you before you started hearing things.

I'm just spouting heresay, but since I haven't gotten through all 1000 pages yet, is this plan actually doing something to control medical costs or is it just controlling who is paying for those costs?

I read an article yesterday- sorry I cannot find it today so feel free to call it Fox News trash if you want- but I read that Insurance companies are actually on board with the latest plan and are okay with waiving the usual pre-existing condition clauses because in turn all of the healthy, young, fast action Obama-ites who never go to the doctor are going to be forced to pay for insurance and its a win for them. If private insurance companies are happy about government intervention then this needs another glance!

Uh, a minute after the crickets you were hearing, you continued with the inane jokes with Marc? I guess I don;t get why you would ask such a thing and just poke fun.
