How Long for Name Check - Security Check

I called USCIS and they told me that they are running security check. I have a very common name, infact, I was detenied at the airport last month because they have another person with the same name and birthdate as mine that has an order for arrest.

Is there a way to learn if my name has been cleared or if it is under review? By the way, I am the petitioner.

Oh boy lucky you, what a nightmare that must of been for you last month. I truly dont know what you can do. I've heard of some people checking witht eh FBI and they answered their questions if still in name check mode.

One other thing, saying that your in security check is a standard line for USCIS. Quick way for them to get off the phone.
