It's really something. I've never seen this level of hate online before. You two need counseling

Wow, you think what I feel for Charles rates that high up the scale of interest? If I had to put a label on it, I would put him just marginally above Marc the fruitfly, interesting.

Refusing to use the spellchick!

I have put you on ignore. No really, I have, but you are still ruining my enjoyment of this site. .

No, you hate him. You act disinterested but that's all it is, an act.

I guess its a good thing that we're in an economic boom, and how noone anywhere (ever) gets laid off.

duh! and everyone makes enough to afford private policies if coverage is not offered at their job(free of charge of course) :P

I am still confused why you would say one gets medicare instantly if disabled when you even said yourself it can take years.

When one is approved, they get mediCAID. If its an easy case(CLEARLY diabled)..it wont take years. Thousands(if not more) apply for disablity every year that arent truly disabled as Im sure you can imagine. If someone is clearly disabled and cant work..like i imagined our fictitous character will be, it wont take years. The cases that take years are the ones that are questionable, really. why are we talking about the ins and outs of SSI? lol

"you fondle my trigger then you blame my gun"

Timeline: 13 month long journey from filing to visa in hand

If you were lucky and got an approval and reunion with your loved one rather quickly; Please refrain from telling people who waited 6+ months just to get out of a service center to "chill out" or to "stop whining" It's insensitive, and unecessary. Once you walk a mile in their shoes you will understand and be heard.

Thanks!

yes. you do automatically qualify. If your state doesnt auto add you and order card production and mail it out, then you can go down and apply. either way, you meet instant eligiblity.

oh, my typo..SSD. If you get SSI, you do get instant mediCARE.

Eligibility for what?

In our state there are several different medicaid plans. Most on federal disability only qualify for a medicaid plan that supplements Medicare.
