Len, come and clean my tent we live in. Oh wait, I have already cleaned it and am busy making Turkish-style coffee and tea for all the guests.

On topic, I think CSC (you're going through CSC, right?) is running as little as 3-4 months after biometrics. That's awesome for you! VSC is slow and our LOC will probably not occur until one or both of us has died of natural causes, and since I am obviously the older one by 30+ years, it will be me. :P We filed back in April (4), and had biometrics in May (27) and have heard nothing since. We are in the process of moving and are not really sure what to do about it... at the moment, he's watching our house and so it's not an issue-- but if it sold, we'd have to figure out what to do as far as chancing an address. I have a friend who works for USCIS and she thinks it's good to have VSC as she says CSC has a higher incidence of losing petitions... her advice would be just to keep checking and making sure they remember you exist every couple of months.

None of my posts have ever been helpful. Be forewarned.

Thomas, I had to think about our removal of status. It seems to me the only thing was the application, fees and biometrics. The whole process is 3 - 4 months assuming you are doing everything on time. If you filed within the 90 day window you will only have to wait until after the biometrics for the processing. We had no interview and got the permanent (10 year) green card in the mail shortly after receiving the notice of approval.

Same for us. Went to Biometrics appt. Got approval letter about two or three months later. GC about three weeks after that. Less than 4 months total. No interview.

Duh, sorry I forgot you're lifting conditions. VJ doesn't seem to track those stats quite as well, but it does seem to be around 3-4 months.

Because by the time we get there we're so done with USCIS and VJ, we've excused ourselves from any "official business" and now only discuss guns and pie. We don't even care about our all-important timelines anymore.

:wow: that would be awesome brother. I filed 07/10; got my biometrics for 08/13. It I get approved in september, I will dance naked under the moon. WAIT. I already do that as a side gig for bachelor parties

Do you and slim have an act or what, BBQ apron striptease with a side of jerked beef - ooooh that may have been a little too much.

I like to get my beef jerked by spicy Latinas, especially at bachelor parties! I mean, when you're sitting there in your ascot and smoking jacket and the "help" comes in carrying that wonderful smelling concoction of chilis and slow-roasted veal, it's just amazing! What's even better is you don't have to tip them!

If the government is going to force me to exercise my "right" to health care, then they better start requiring people to exercise their Right to Bear Arms. - "Where's my public option rifle?"

Technically you are tipping them, just dont hit em in the eye, then they file a workmans comp claim.
