Form DS-221 (Only for K1 and K3 visas) is a waiver form. I googled it and a copy from another embassy is online at this location. You might want to see if you have been given this form with the information from USCIS or contact DOS and ask on how to obtain one. Good luck.

Thank you very much MaryandMian, Sharon had looked last night and I have been looking all morning and must have passes right by it. Immigration is like snakes and ladders, a few steps up and then a few down.

The following is from Laura Scott in reply to someone else.

Laurel: I see this happen a lot - the consular officer tells the applicant to fill out the DS-221, Two-Way Visa Action form. It appears to me that this form is intended to be an internal document to be completed by the consular officer. For one thing, one of the questions is whether an approval is recommended. For another, its not available online except in poor quality copy in the Foreign Affairs Manual. Whenever I see a consular officer asking the applicant to fill that out (DS-221), its a Red Flag to me that the consular officer doesn't know how to accept and process an I-601.

I know about the AR/AP since my husband was stuck in it at the USE level. Thanks for the update from Laurel Scott's website and hopefully someone can help advise you. All the best to you both.

Thank you Mary, in my csae the CIMT wasn't a CIMT after all and the 601 was in effect a useless exercise which just won't go away. I hope you and your husband are through or close to being through with everything USCIS. For us we are just getting through the first part of this multi part process, I hope the OAS doen't take three years as this has.

They want me to answer questions on a form that is not available and send them so they can add them to the form there before they send it off to vermont. Why back to Vermont, they already approved the waiver. Thesse people are giving me and Sharon a heart attact,
