Sending multiple sets of Passport Photos for 1st Time Passport application?

So my question is, can you send more than just 2 passport photos in your application (1st Time passport application) ?

I ask because I have 2 sets (4 pictures total) that I took today to send in with my Passport Application, and figured if it is allowed I would send all 4 just incase they like one set better than the other or if one gets rejected my entire application won't get rejected?

Anyone done that?

07/27/2009 - Oath Ceremony Date *COMPLETE, NOW A U.S CITIZEN!!*

07/27/2009 - Updated Records with Social Security Administration

07/27/2009 - Mailed in Application for Passport (Regular Service)

08/10/2009 - Passport Received in Hand!!!!

Overkill I would think KromiX. If the DS-11 form states:

- TWO RECENT COLOR PHOTOGRAPHS,

then I would think two recent photos are all you need. I cannot think of it being an issue if you send too many photos, they will just scrap what they do not need, but it's highly unlilely they are needed at all. Then as per Murphy's Law, after you send the two not required, you'll find you need them for something else and you're paying to get them taken again!

July 23, 2009: Oath. I am a US citizen!
