Hello,

We sent all the AOS paperwork to Chicago on Apri 1st and the last " touch" noted is for the RFE of May 15th...............we seem to be out of the 60 day window......I called the number as so noted on the goverment website and the auto response advises the same; May 15th was the latest update.

Should I be concerned and try to call somewhere else or just wait and see?

.(.......this whole process is about the most nerve wracking thing I have ever had to deal with!)

Thank in advance from soggy New York.

It doesn't sound as if you are out of the regular timeline of processing. It hasn't been that long yet, I don't think an infopass appt would help as it's early. It can take up to 6 months or longer for AOS to be approved

I noticed the below notice on the site today:

Application Type: I485, APPLICATION TO REGISTER PERMANENT RESIDENCE OR TO ADJUST STATUS

Current Status: Case Transfered to Another Office for Processing

So...looks like something is happening..

Thanks to everyone for their opinions!

This could mean a transfer to the CSC, which would be a good thing! (Many there are approved w/out interview.) Or they may have now sent it to your local office to schedule an interview.
