Case Complete..When to expect appointment letter for interview?

case completed as of this morning. For those who got their cases completed on the 3rd week of the month, how long did it take for NVC to send u an appointment letter? Is it true that I need to wait on the 1st or 2nd week of the month before I get a schedule? Can the operator schedule something for me? I just really want to know how much more time we need to wait. Thanks and good luck to all! :dance:

NVC ~IR-1 Visa~ Journey

2009-06-13 : NVC case # assigned

2009-06-20: DS-3032/AOS Bill Generated and received via e-mail

2009-06-20 : DS-3032 e-mailed; AOS/I-864 Bill (paid online $70)

2009-06-25 : Sent In Completed I-864

2009-06-29 : IV Fee bill generated, paid online $400

2009-07-06: DS-230 cover sheet available, DS-230 mailed to NVC

2009-07-10: NVC started reviewing the DS-230 package according to AVR

2009-07-15 : Case in review

2009-07-20: Log in Failed! WOOHOO!

2009-07-21 : Case complete

2009-07-26 : NVC e-mailed an interview date for Sept.22

2009-08-10 : Case left NVC

2009-08-10 : DHL shipped file

2009-08-17 and 18 : Medical scheduled

2009-08-18: request for Interview to be re-scheduled - unsuccessful (physical file not in Manila yet)

2009-08-19: called USEM again, rescheduled date granted

2009-08-26: new interview date-- PASSED!! YIPEE!

2009-08-29: Visa in hand

2009-09-02: Seminar

2009-09-05: POE Finally after 5 years of being away from each other!

2009-09-15: SS card received. Job hunting begins ;-)

Congrats.

Keep calling NVC. As soon as it is scheduled they will tell you. You'll get the email the night after interview is scheduled. The operator can't schedule.

It's definitely not a rule that they only schedule during the 2nd week. My case was completed in middle of the third week and we had our appointment letter two days later.

It depends on the embassy though. NVC needs to wait until they're notified of the availability of interviews before they can start scheduling. I guess some embassies let them know earlier than others.

Naturalization

N-400 package mailed: 04/16/2013

N-400 package delivered: 04/16/2013

NOA1 date: 04/17/2013

Biometrics: 08/23/2013

Interview: 10/07/2013

Oath: 01/23/2014

DONE!
