If a person files their I130 with the I129f (they did not want to file the I129f at all, but from their understanding, they thought it was a part of the process). They do not, whatsoever, want a K3, but strictly a CR1. What can be done? Do they need to contact USCIS and tell them to disregard the I129f?

Thanks for your help!!!

All they need to do is ignore the I-129F petition when it gets to the consulate and respond to all NVC document and fee requests for the CR1

YMMV

Thank you! She was really stressing out. I am not completely clear on the K3 process. So they don't ask for anything at NVC (separately from CR1?) I gave her the links on the CR1 and K3 flips. She can just not go to the K3 interview? Or would she have to go to both? I hope that eases her mind.
