Visa 'Annotations'

Hi All,

I just received my passport back with my visa in it and in the annotations section it states 'K-1 PET APPV USCIS/WAC ON 23DEC2009.'

My NAO2 was actually sent to me on 23rd Dec 2008 so I'm a little confused as to why it would state 2009 on my visa.

I did however have to re schedule my visa interview which took it out of the usual 4 month vadility period so I thought this could mean they extended it to a year but this does not explain why they have stated the petition was approved 'on' 23rd Dec 2009.

Any help would be appreciated.

Probably a typo. I don't know if it will cause any problems or not but you might want to contact the Embassy about it - it might need correcting.
