DS-230 Employer Location Last 10 years...

On the DS-230, has anyone been successful just submitting the "City, Province, and Country" to answer that question... or is everyone submitting exact addresses?

Finding exact work/home addresses for the last 5 years for my wife was difficult enough, 10 years might get a little ugly...

all they ask for on the sheet is city, province, country..... so if your wife moved a bunch of times but still lived in the same city, I would just put that city and how long she lived in that city.... don't worry about exact addresses

I would get as much accurate information as you can and just use continuation sheets. That is what I had to do with our case. It was a pain to get all the information--but better have the info and have the visa approved than receive a denial for lack of information.

I agree with the sentiment here, but I'm not sure if I'd actually do this (as a matter of fact, we are not). They're asking for specific information on the form. If you start giving them things that they didn't request in an effort to "help" them, you might slow down your own process while they have to dig out the information that they actually need from all the cruft that you added to it. yeah, all they ask for on the forms is city, province, country.... that is all I included and I had no problems

i had no way of figuring out all the specific addresses of all the different places I have lived since I was 16....

I am pretty sure they are more concerned if you have lived in different countries since you were 16 then all the different places you might have lived in one town

as for the employer info.. is just asks for location not the address... they don't really give you enough room on that little line to write out an address....

I think the same thing goes as for the home addresses, they just want to see if you have worked in different countries etc....
