WE GOT OUR VISA!!!!!! So Katia will be flying here Nov 29th!!! I've been up all night waiting for her call after the interview and now I'm too excited to sleep, oh work will be difficult today :(

The interview was very long, almost 30 minutes. She said the woman asked about EVERYTHING. The woman started the questioning with a serious tone but by the end of the interview they were laughing and joking. Then the woman finally stopped and said "Congratulations, welcome to the United States" :dance:

My mom even called me at 3am to ask if I had heard anything.. I was surprised. My whole family knows already that she got it and its 4:15am now! :D

Wow, I better get this house cleaned! :jest:

CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Your fiance will be here to enjoy Christmas with you ..... things are definately rolling for us July 2009 filers... keep posting the good news!

I think it boosts the morale here and we can definately use that any time!!

Have a great day everyone!

Malarie

Ohhh I love all the good news!! It was so quiet here the other day, it seems as if it was only quiet before the storm kicked in. I am sooo happy for everyone, even though I know not everyone has their NOA2 yet, so I'm still waiting for the final news from everyone (F)

Marie, Marie, Marie! It was so nice to read about your touch and before I could finish reading all the unread posts here, I also got to read about your NOA2. I am so excited for you!! I hope you slept peacefully even though you seemed too excited to fall asleep perhaps :D What did your fiancè say? He must be so thrilled too! I bet you'll have a quick interview date for him and soon, soon, soon you will be together :dance:

Kitty & LoveWaits, congratulations with 2 x visa! I am so happy for you both (or all four of you, lol!) Some months ago we were all sitting here waiting for our NOA2s and it is so incredible nice to see the first visas being issued. Now I'm just waiting for the rest of us to follow! Anyway, good luck with the rest of your journey - what an incredible feeling it must be to know it's a done deal and you'll soon see your loved ones (L)

:dance::dance::dance: My Tamara's Visa Arrived Today!! :dance::dance::dance:

She comes to me next week!!! Maybe Monday or Tuesday!! :dance::dance:

WOWWWWWWW --- ANOTHER ONE .... THIS IS DEFINATELY A GREAT WEEK FOR JULY FILERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

Congratulations T&G ..... enjoy the holidays with each other!!!!!

WOOOHOO for all of us!

Big Congrats to lovewaits, T&G, and Kitty23! You guys have brightened my day! I'm sitting here sick lol, thanks to my kids. But hey atleast its this week and not next when I'm over with Damo. I still cant believe I fly out a week from today! :dance:

Update: Damo received his packet from me yesterday, poor thing he had to drive all the way across Melbourne and back to pick it up from ups cause he was affraid they would miss him at home, lol. We are still waiting on his medical results, he had it last tuesday so hopefully he will be able to pick it up on monday, then straight to the post office to overnight it to the consulate. But atleast he has the important stuff and it didnt get lost somewhere over the pacific! But as it goes right now, looks like I might miss our interview by a week. If we get it shipped by monday then it will be scheduled while im there, but if we dont get the medical until tuesday or later then it will be the following week after i leave. Either way I'm happy, it just means we have more pictures, passport stamps and boarding passes to put in to show proof. Plus it will give him a good joke to poke fun at the consular on how they just missed me lol.

Love you guys!

Jules

OMG.. I just made the weirdest mistake. I called DOS for the second time today... since it's the weekend and I won't be able to call for a couple days..

They asked me to confirm who the Beneficiary is and I said, "It's David McC*****, this is Julie McC*****." And then I stopped and said.. ohh wait, no. I'm Julie C****.

:rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl:

The lady just laughed and said I was getting ahead of myself. I agreed!!

At least I'm finally starting to think of myself as a married person.. it's been tough. It must have been that he actually didn't seem to mind when I started in on wedding planning ####### today. HE EVEN MADE A SUGGESTION. We're all getting close you guys. :D

No, taking a last name that is 6 letters longer than the name I have always had does NOT sound like fun.
