So how's the progress with NOA2s, medical appointments and interview? I'm waiting eagerly to hear some good news! :D

Dave's medical is in a week and a half. P3 was signed for by London today. It took them 2 weeks for the box from NVC to be processed and the P3 letter to be sent to Dave. I know of people who sent their P3 letter back on 10/12 and they still do not have an interview date though.

Hurry up and wait wait.

Boy the embassy can be jerks!

They told Tamara that she gets her Visa but they need one more little form

That shows why she went from her maiden name to her married name

Can you believe it?

Like the birthcertificate and married certificate and devorce decree doesn't show this??

SO this poor lady now has to travel back to Odessa by train go to her city hall get this little form then travel back to Kiev on Sunday and give this form to this Embassy and then they will release her Visa! (L)

Be happy you are almost done! The light at the end of the tunnel is close, my friend. What questions did they ask her?

Ask her about how we met, ask her about when we met in person some questions about Alaska and where I work, and if she new how cold it gets in ALaska, She got her document today, She leaves Odessa Sunday Night and will go to the Embassy again first thing Monday morning then they fedex her visa to her, I told her we are still going to try and get her here for Thanks Giving, praying this still works!!

Have a great day everyone!

Congrats Jules! Im excited for you. London K1s just started getting interview dates for the first time since 10/13. Today someone got a 12/1 which was 42 days after P3 was sent back, and someone else got 1/4 which is 68 days after P3 was sent back. She had put 1/10 as wedding date and got 1/4 as interview date.

It kind of blows my idea of celebrating New Years with Dave right out of the water. :crying::crying: DOS says London hasnt acknowledged receipt of our P3 and prob wont for another week.

No worries Mate!

Im staying from the 29th (when i actually land) til December the 12th. Talked to the attorney today, he got all the I134 from my mom this morning so they are sending it to Damo via ups on monday morning. He has his medical on the 17th, monday for him. So should have the paperwork and the medical results by friday next week! Then will send out p3 on the following monday! Sydney is holding a trend right now of two weeks to interview after they receive your p3. They interview on tuesdays so if all goes as it has been then our interview date should be on the 8th of december. Fingers crossed we time it right. If not then his mom is going to go with him. And he will have another passport stamp and boarding passes to show I just left!

Dont stress, you will hear they received your p3 in no time! I'm sure of it!

Awesome, awesome! I will be thinking of you guys on the 4th - not that far away from now

You guys are so close and I can see why you're both anxious and excited, so many emotions to go through! So if Neil gets his approval on the 4th, are you guys planning on being together for Christmas or will he be waiting for a while before coming over? Any plans yet? (Yes, I am Curious George, lol)

@ Jules, YAY! Tickets, and congrats on scoring the last seat available :D I am sure you had a hard time picking your seat with all the options left, haha! But important thing is you'll soon see him and that's all what matters! I'm so excited for you, hopefully it will line up nicely with the interview

Thanks, Kristin! We're so very excited! :)

He's (hopefully) flying over (fingers crossed) on Dec. 15th. Can you tell that this process has made me a tad superstitious? Every statement made is accompanied by an homage and sacrifice to the visa Gods. And we're getting married on Dec. 30th.

So yes, if all goes according to plan (knock on wood) we will be together for Christmas. :) I'm not allowing myself to get as excited as I want to about that.

What about you? Are you over the moon excited and thrilled and all that? Or still too stressed to be at that point?

Dec 30th sounds wonderful, gives him about two weeks to get rid of the jet lag and settle in some :D I know what you mean by not allowing yourself to feel too excited about any solid dates or otherwise, I'm the same way. We have some dates in mind but I don't dare making solid plans until I hopefully have that visa on hand.

I think at this point I'm mostly anxious and nervous about the interview. I think we have a strong case, but I got all the 'what if's' playing tricks on me. I just wish I could fast forward time.. by two weeks so it would be a done deal, lol. Oh well.. nothing to do but wait I guess.. and drive myself mad at that

I'll sure be keeping my fingers crossed for you guys, you only have 2 and a half week left

I agree with you on that :). I am doing the same thing. Just getting a few prices for things, but not doing the running around or making any deposits for my wedding until he is approved. I don't want to get my hopes up. On the brighter side he got his medical out of the way yesterday and it went well. Yay!! So, now for the interview.

I am so happy to everyone elses progress. We are all moving along so well.

Talking about being superstitious

I even did some research on numbers and especially the number 7. Since his interview date is December 7th, 2009.

See what this process has done to me

Let me know what you find out about the numberology in Dec/Jan/Feb ;) My parents wedding date was the end of January and since they had such a crummy time being married I figured I would try to stay as far from that date as I can.
