Still waiting for NOA2. My NOA1 is dated July 23 2009. I see several people with NOA1 dates near the same time as mine and they have NOA2 approvals in October. Should I be concerned that there might be a problem somewhere?

I would not be concerned due to this, CSC has the infamous 5 month deadline we all belong under. In this case a lot of us was lucky to get approved earlier, but I don't think there necessarily has to be a problem if you're not approved yet. It just means that your case is going at a slower rate than some of the ones being approved ahead of you. Now I can understand if you're feeling impatient and frustrated, I think we all would! Having that said, welcome to the thread!! I hope you'll have some good news in the week to come regarding your NOA2 :star:

Thanks. It is very frustrating. We had hoped that Marina would be here for Christmas but that is looking like a very slim chance now.

Still waiting, when should I take more action as in contacting congressman or something?

Still nothing on your end either? Good luck to you too! I feel like the application fell off the desk and the janitor put it in the wrong place.

How can you tell if it has been touched?

When you log onto USCIS.GOV - the first screen that you see "last updated" what's your date? if it is still the day of your noa1 or 1 day after ...it means you haven't been touched.

When you are ...and if they update uscis you will see a more current date.

So, sorry to hear about this T&G. I just hope that its a temporary thing, and she will reschedule.

As far as the question for the RFE. You have to return to the blue original form back, and you can make a copy and keep it for your records. They want the original back. But, RFE's aren't as bad, you usually get an approval in no time. The waiting part is the wost :).
