I just took a glance at the June filers that have been approved, and I noticed that of the 21 that are approved on the list only one of them is identifiable as a female petitioner. I think that we have more women than men posting on this thread so I just wanted to throw that out there and see if anyone else wants to make speculations about CSC. ;)

It something I can plug into minitab and analyze if I get bored enough... so it's probably good that I'm taking a billion classes right now and the only free time I have is when I'm stuck at work. :jest:

On another note, 18 of the 54 still pending for June are probable female petitioners... but many of the names are hard to tell, and the initials are probably women but there is no real way of knowing.

So it seems male petitioners might be approved quicker than female petitioners... Maybe they think more greencard fraud might occur via female USCs? I'm just speculating to pass the time. Not meaning to upset anyone. If I pissed you off with this really random post than ignore it! ;)

So good to know that I am not the only one that is OCD about this process. The things that cross my mind and the fact that I look at Igor's list at least 5 times a day cannot be healthy! But I truly can't help it bc i feel like so much of it is out of my control and all I have is Igor's list, uscis.gov, and you guys! :)

I have no idea what to say about female filers...never thought about that actually. But you do make an interesting point as to fraud and women filers...

Today I talked to someone and he told me it could take up to 6 months - which obviously totally brought down my spirits ... major downer.

I keep hoping that we will all be lucky and get by end of september early October.. sigh.

You know what it is - I feel like my life is on pause ever since I started this process. I keep thinking - once he gets here my life will start...

Ok - sorry to keep rambling ...hope every one is doing well!!

Really - thank God for this forum.

OMG, no. I obsess and obsess. He has put a ban on my bringing up the subjects: the wedding, the visa, and anything to do with dates. He thinks I'm making myself sick.. and I am!!

So the less he wants to talk about these things the more I NEEEED TO! heh... I'm really getting on his nerves about this stuff, so this is good practice for when we get married. Him seeing me at my worst, and me finding out what his limits are. :D

Once he gets here your life will start? I sometimes think that too.... For me I think my life will start to swing from really F'ing awesome to really difficult because I'm going to have to figure out what happens when you live with someone that isn't family. ;) This major process is quite the learning experience. It will be worth it soon though. I am really hoping he will be here for New Years.

Yeah in a weird way - I feel like it really won't start until he gets here (my life) last time I saw him and flew back to the states I left a part of me with him. Don't get me wrong I'm still functioning but I just feel like everything is revolving on "when he gets here" I.e. What we will do, where we will go ....

And I don't know about you - but there is a part of me that wonders "my god - how is he going to adjust to living in a new country - it cannot be an easy thing ...and what kind of issues will come up with that!!!"

My half tells me not to talk about it too - tells me I'm stressing out too much - and that everything will be ok - must be nice!!! Haha but right now - its all about ocd'ing on the freakin noa2!!!!!

Ughhhhhhh

Goodmorning July filers! Let's hope for a productive day at the government, guys!!

It's real cute to read the last couple of messages from Jewelx and M and F. I know exactly how you two feel! I am not the one who is doing the petitioning, but I can tell you it does not feel any different really. Whenever a situation arise, I'm thinking.. 'Oh well, it just got to last another few months and then I will be out of here, and it won't even matter!' The heating system here where I am living is really so-so, and probably could use some repairs and whatnot.. winter is ahead and normally I'd be out there taking care of it. Now I'm just thinking that I hopefully won't have to be here all of the winter.. so I'll just manage a little longer. Everything is pinned on 'When I get there..!' You have no idea how many times I hear myself say or think that

I really can't stand the thought of perhaps having to wait 6M+ for the NOA2, or the idea of getting RFEs - and I can actually worry myself sick over these things. Also I keep stressing things like the interview, the medical, all the paperwork for the next package etc etc! Yesterday I even called up the Immigrant doctors here in Norway to quiz them about what will happen there, what I may need to bring and such.. LOL. I am O B S E S S E D

Anyway, have a great friday.. last day before CSC checks out, so let's hope they'll do some hard working before the weekend really kicks off!

Guys any update on July 09 filers

68 days since our NOA1 and now m losing my patience

We all know how awful the wait is, Zahid. All you have to do is read the ladies' previous posts to see how tough it is for us all. ;) But I wouldn't do that to yourself, lose patience at 68 days... or you're in for a long hard wait. Every case is different, and there is no rhyme or reason. Personally, I would be HAPPY, THRILLED, over the MOON with anything before ninety days, but I'm not really EXPECTING anything before then. Your adjudication date on your timeline is Oct 9th.

I mean, the way some of these poor cases go, four, five, six months plus... we'll all be lucky to get it at ninety days. Even though I know we're all hoping for before then. :)

hope, hope, hope!

Definitely a strenuous waiting game. As someone else mentioned, its like having your whole life put on hold. There are so many things to do around the house but I've put them off because they are things I'd rather do together or have her input before starting. Its been such a nice summer here this year too, would have been a great one to spend together, we just have to keep reminding ourselves we have a lifetime of them left to spend together.

Another weekend upon us, so everyone enjoy it! Keep hoping for some CSC miracles!

Another few days until CSC will get back on the horse again I guess. I'm happy with the progress at Igors list over the past day though and hope they will continue like that next week.

So have any of you planned how you will spend the first day together after your loved ones arrive there? I've to assume the flight will take its toll, then again.. all the anticipation and excitement by finally being together (L)

Good morning :-)

I have played how I imagine it will be when he lands at LAX...and it changes every time. That entire day - 16 hours total flight time will be the first time that we will go without some kind of communication for so many hours. I am certain I will be going crazy with last minute things during the 16 hours that he is up in the sky!!!!

The only thing I keep thinking is the shock I will be in to have him next to me. Then I would like to destroy any technological stuff that I have I.e computer and phones ....then I figure he will need a shower and food ---and then I plan on locking all the doors and hiding out for a few days and really I just want to hug him and hold him...and I'm sure for many nights I will wake up in the middle of the night just to make sure I'm not dreaming and that he really is finally by my side.

Followed by months of discovering california all over again.

Oh yeah and doing the civil marriage right away only start a whole new process with uscis. Ugh! Lol

What about you?? And the rest of our july filers??

I pray every night that it doesn't take 6 months + or any rfe's!!! I'm still wishing for turkey day together!!!

Check in with your guys later ...wish you all a great day.

I was excited to see lots of approvals get entered today. I hope there's more on the way. Maybe tomorrow morning a lot more people will update their timelines.

I got bored and organized anyone that has posted more than once on this board in order by NOA1 date. I also put which embassy.

Zahid, you had your NOA1 first. I hope that means you'll get the NOA2 very soon! I understand the frustration for sure!!
