I have a question for people who have received their NOA2 .... How long from the time you received the email/text until you received the actual paper NOA2 in the mail?

It's been 5 days and nothing yet.

Another thing to worry about I guess.....

Thanks!

Malarie

I stopped caring about WHEN the paper NOA2 arrived. When it did I quickly filed it away for the AOS process.

The part that I started obsessing over was the NVC portion. :D I called every day to see if it was there and if it had been sent to embassy yet. Do you think we have our own brand of crazy?

Well this is what I am preluding to. I contacted NVC today and was told they do not have the case yet and usually by the time the petitioner receives the hardcopy of the NOA2 its a good rule of thumb that NVC has also received the case. Of course that is not always how it goes.

I'm the type of person who likes to have some type of guideline/timeline to follow -- it keeps me going!!

To be honest I am a little freaked about AP at NVC :blink::blink:

Malarie

And YES we definately have our own brand of crazy ---- HA ----- I kinda like my crazy

THIS IS SO FRUSTRATING.

:crying::crying::crying::crying::crying::crying::crying::crying::crying::crying::crying::angry:

Awww I know, Marie :(

It must be so frustrating to be stuck with the NOA2, and I can't imagine how you're making the days go by. Just try to keep yourself as busy as you can, think about what you can do next should your case get a delay in their system. Once this is all said and done (which I assume must feel like an eternity right now) this will just be a sore memory and it will be worth it in the end when you're finally together. I'm going to send lots of warm, fuzzy vibes your way and just hope, hope, hope for your (and everyone else who's waiting!) approval to come through! Hang in there! (F)

Seriously you will not be there too long. I was in there for one week. It seems like the trend is when you are waiting forever for your approval and once you get it then you just fly out of NVC in no time. I would not sweat it. They pick random cases and I doubt you will be there too long.

It seems like everybody is freaking out about something .

In one month my fiance will have his interview. Just trying so hard to stay positive about this. Reading so many posts about delays and denials is completely freaking me out.

Yes, the whole process is torture, LOL. But also so worth it in the end when you will finally be with him (L)

Just take a deep breath, make sure he has more than enough documents with him to the interview and I am sure he'll do well. You're so close now, just hang in there a little longer and it will soon be over!! (This part of the journey anyway ;p)

Hi Everyone - Hope you're all handling your individual freak outs  alright. :)

Congrats, T&G!!! She's going to do splendidly at her interview, we'll all be here cheering you on!

And Marie - that's EXACTLY right! That's exactly what I've said to you! See, it wasn't just stuff being said to cheer you up, I meant it!

This isn't a sprint, it's a marathon. And some of the embassies where some people are (myself and Neil being some of these people) take a really long time. So you could STILL get approved this week and beat people to interview!! Just make sure you have everything ready as I know you do!!

Still waiting for NOA2. My NOA1 is dated July 23 2009. I see several people with NOA1 dates near the same time as mine and they have NOA2 approvals in October. Should I be concerned that there might be a problem somewhere?

I would not be concerned due to this, CSC has the infamous 5 month deadline we all belong under. In this case a lot of us was lucky to get approved earlier, but I don't think there necessarily has to be a problem if you're not approved yet. It just means that your case is going at a slower rate than some of the ones being approved ahead of you. Now I can understand if you're feeling impatient and frustrated, I think we all would! Having that said, welcome to the thread!! I hope you'll have some good news in the week to come regarding your NOA2 :star:
