Woohooooo ... some action on your petition. Give them what they are asking for and it appears from the timelines they should adjudicate your file within 2 weeks after they receive your response.

Remember to send it in a way that has a tracking number so you know when it arrives there!

Good Luck!!

Marie --- here is my new theory.... CSC is now working through the petitions that were not 100% simple on the first go around so I feel your time is coming!!!

Glad to see some approvals are still coming through! Congrats Malarie!!!

Thanks BV and Lovewaits!!

:D I'm still up in the clouds :D

Ok - now everyone please dont yell and tell me to go to the guides please.

I'm looking for the next step -- exactly what I need to do and what I should have my fiance start preparing.

Can anyone shoot a quick next step list??

Thank you so much!!!

Malarie

1. Employment letter for I134:

Aquire letter head paper from work and just type it up and print it out yourself, have boss sign it. Here is how I worded mine:

To whom it may concern:

(your name here) has been employed full time with the (business name here) since ( date of hire here) as a (position title here), and is an employee in good standing with an annual salary of $XXXXX.

Signed,

(boss signs here)

type bosses name here and his title

then i put the name and adress of business here

he had no trouble signing off on it, after making a joking comment on the good standing comment in letter lol.

2.Copies or originals of paycheck stubs

3. Letter from bank from each account, with account numbers and balances to match. I didnt include the deposits from the last year as I am including most recent bank statements for my checking and savings account.

4. Call the IRS and get the tax transcripts from the last 3 years, 2008, 2007 and 2006 they are free and they will mail them to you. Phone number for this is 1-800-829-1040. If you have these then you do not need your original tax return nor will you need the w2s.

5. If USC was previously married need a certified copy of divorce decree from the courts, easy to get. only cost me 15.00 to get mine from the clerks office here.

6. I retyped a new letter of intent to marry, with a most recent date. Just so they know I still want to do this hehe.

Thats the hard stuff, and its not so hard. All the rest of the stuff you should have already, ie. birth certificates passports proof etc.

Good luck! hope this is what you needed ;)

:thumbs::thumbs: Excellent list Lyekka!! :thumbs::thumbs:

Thank you so much this has really helped!!!!

:dance::dance::dance::dance::dance::dance:

I called the USEM today, and our file was in their system, so was able to get a interview date of Dec 3 2009.

we as happy as can be, as it looks like we will bring in the New Year in the US.

Continued good luck for those waiting, things seem to move faster after the NOA2 for us

Congratulations Ann Marie and Leo! I am so happy for you guys and I'll keep my fingers crossed for your approval. So are you guys excited, nervous - a little of both? :star:

Yesterday I mailed our package to the embassy in Oslo, and today they called me up to set an interview date. I was so shocked, and kinda stumped and lame about my replies, LOL, I just didn't expect a call from them so soon. The documents look good and they gave me an interview date of nov 25th! I am so thrilled and nervous and everything else in between

I'm going to keep my fingers crossed for everyone who's waiting for their NOA2s, next packages, interviews and everything else

WOW Kristin - CONGRATS!!!   I'm so excited for you, you'll do so great!

I want these last approvals for everyone RIGHT NOW. I'm so glad to see that you guys who are still waiting are being proactive, calling congressmen, etc. Like I was telling Marie, it seems like the helplessness of waiting for them and having no control, nothing to do to help it along, that's the worst part. Glad to hear you're taking it into your own hands as much as possible!

Thank you, Nancy! I am so excited and I too hope I'll do great in there  How are you guys doing with your journey? I see you sent back the P3, any idea how long the consulate usually takes to respond? Hopefully Neil will get his date soon!

I agree with you regarding the NOA2s. I was telling Wade yesterday how I just want everyone in the thread to get their approvals so we can all move forward together. I can't even imagine what I would feel like at this point if I was still waiting for it, I'd probably crack up by now  But hang in there Marie and the rest who's still waiting. It will come eventually and I believe Malarie's approval is a very good sign for the rest of the NOA2s we're waiting for!!

Yay Kristin! Oh so soon, I'm so excited! When do you think you will be here? Oh I cant wait for us to get together, that will be so cool! Damo and I have p3 but his medical was postponed yet again until nov 17th, which is no problem because we arent going to send it back until around December 14th. The consulate in sydney is averaging interviews around 2 to 3 weeks after receiving your p3 so we are hoping that it will be scheduled during the two weeks that I'm there. But anyways I fly out on December 25th, spending christmas eve and morning with the kids, dropping them off at their dads and flying out that afternoon. I get to spend my first new years eve with my sweetheart, and we are going to have our engagement party on New years day. What a great way to start the new year! I so cant wait to see him next month! :luv:

If Adam wasn't sure about my crazy-meter, I'm sure he knows now :P Just today I was getting a bit anxious because he hasn't received P3 yet. He told me I should find a yoga class for the calming/relaxation techniques. I asked him when he thought I'd have time to fit yoga into my day. He sent me a link to a website with "office yoga" instructions and videos :) That got me to laugh, which helped for the moment.

Good luck to all!

Iiihhhh I know, I'm so excited and I still feel all silly when thinking about it. We're hoping to spend New Years together, very much like you guys. After a bit back and forth, I decided to spend one more Christmas over here with my family although I'm sure my head will mostly be in the US during the whole thing  The date we're looking at is the dec 28, so I'm hoping everything will go smooth at the interview. And yes! I can't wait to meet you, Jules, I'm so glad we're going to live in the same area! I'm going to cross my fingers for Damo's interview landing on a day when you're with him. It would be such a great trip if you got to join him for both the interview as well as celebrating your engagement (L)

I know what you mean, Brooke! The whole process is about waiting.. all we do is wait, wait, wait. At least after NOA2 it starts picking up some speed between each step and I'm sure you'll hear something about his P3 soon! So have you started your office yoga during lunch now? :D

I have a question for people who have received their NOA2 .... How long from the time you received the email/text until you received the actual paper NOA2 in the mail?

It's been 5 days and nothing yet.

Another thing to worry about I guess.....

Thanks!

I stopped caring about WHEN the paper NOA2 arrived. When it did I quickly filed it away for the AOS process.

The part that I started obsessing over was the NVC portion. :D I called every day to see if it was there and if it had been sent to embassy yet. Do you think we have our own brand of crazy?

Our VisaJourney started July 2009 when I mailed the 129-F
