Thank you SO much for the update, it's nice to see where everyone's at. I managed to get the swine flu so I've not been too active here and will not be on much the next 2-3 days either I think. I'm kinda frustrated with myself because I needed to go out and get a document for the embassy, instead I'm stuck here. A prisoner in my own home.. delays are bad enough, but even worse when the ball's in my court. Anyway, I hope hope hope for more NOA2s! Take care everyone and know I'm thinking of you guys, swine flu or not

Aww Im so sorry Kristin! I hope you feel better soon....you might be stuck in your home but you have us to chat with

My kids have had the flu for the past week, took my 4 year old in to the docs this morning but all clear! Just the normal yuck not the new one!

I love this update, its so cute. :)

Thanks!

Anyone is welcome to add to it, delete from it, and change it however they would like!!! I only listed people that have been active lately or that I knew about off the top of my head.

I received RFE 2 weeks ago actually. :P thanks!! they are real cute. :)

Yeah! It's super cute!

Hey! What's going on with Marie NOA2? I thought she would get it during this month! Hang in there girl!

Also for all the couples who are still waiting for their NOA2´s!

Don't feel discouraged!

PS: I have my interview in December 30th, YAY! And I got my Medical Exam yesterday with vaccines and all (yes, there's one that really hurts... my arm still hurts! :( )

YAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY for your interview date. Take a bottle of Champagne with you to the interview and share it with the interviewer!!!!

ugh--- I'm still waiting for my stupid NOA2!! no updates yet. Nothing since my service request.

It is what it is.

Just got off the phone with the liason from the congressmans office and she was in contact with her rep at USCIS. Not too much to report other than the USCIS rep did confirm my response was received and logged into the system.

Hopefully this will prompt work on the file!!

:luv::luv::luv:

I have to use this emoticon because I can never find a reason to use it and I think its cute!!

Malarie

Still nothing eh? I'm hoping for a halloween surprise for you!!! At least they took it in as an RFE?! that's good news right?? <---Halloweed and I have never used that one and always wanted to! hehehe

Wel HELLO -- we got a touch today. I'm thinking the congressmans call did something!!!

CROSSING FINGERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That's good news Malarie! You know what guys, i may not be posting very frequently but I always keep myself updated with this thread, waiting for July'ers to get their NOA2s and I'm really...really hoping that everyone will get to celebrate the holidays with their S.O. My fiance just called our consulate and ask if he could schedule my interview in January because he will be coming here for the holidays and he wants to go with me during my interview, but they said its too early to call for the January schedule. The consulate gave us the Nov 13, but we really want to have it on January..so we will just call back in December. I'm planning to fly to US in April next year (I know that's a looong wait), WORK SUCKS!!! oh well, atleast I have a loooot of time to prepare for everything

To Kristin, hope you get well soon =)

I had an terrible day at work yesterday however I checked my case status tonight before I left for the evening and i saw that i had a touch. When I clicked on the petition number and the web page opened I saw the words I have been waiting for for so long.

On October 28, 2009, we mailed you a notice that we have approved this I129F PETITION FOR FIANCE(E). Please follow any instructions on the notice. If you move before you receive the notice, call customer service at 1-800-375-5283.

So i will go out on a limb and say to the rest of the Julyers this is our week! As long as the paperwork is in order the NOA2's should be processed! I will keep you in my prayers tonight.

M and F: I feel it coming soon for you!

rxist03: Keep the faith it's coming!

Malarie: I think the evidence you sent will be enough for them to check the box!

season: Same as above!

Ann Marie and Leo, JewelX, roughsweet, bv2116: Think how much closer you guys are! That's awesome!

lyekka, Wade+Kristin, Zahid1982: P3 Freakin A! You guys are almost done!

seanyb179, T&G, LoveWaits, Starlight95, Resha~Adnan, Maria&Nick: You guys are like there! I bet you all went out already and bought extra pillows for your honeys!

God Bless....today was a great day and a great step forward!

Good Morning,

I requested my congressmans office make an inquiry on my case because I received a NOID (Notice of Intent to Deny) which I felt was issued in error. Turns out it really should have been an RFE for additional evidence.

I'm not sure how your congressmans office works, but mine has an online privacy release form that you need to fill out and send in with your case details. You could prepare this and indicate that you feel it is taking too much time and you are requesting the office make an inquiry as to what the delay is on your behalf.

Good Luck -- I'm all for having the support of the congressmans or senators office -- that's one of the services they provide so why not utilize it?

Malarie

I love the status update with the emotes, hilarious! I really hope some more NOA2s are headed our way these last couple days - GO CSC!!!!! :help:

Malerie - Didn't notice before that you're in Chicago too! Chi-Town!!! :dancing: So maybe I should apologize now for the screaming of joy you're going to hear on November 29th. The whole state is going to hear it when those doors open at O'Hare.

I have a guest visiting from Germany for a week starting today so I had to do some house cleaning last night. What a good "training exercise" to prepare for when Katia arrives, I'm actually sore today. I can't wait until she gets here and the battle for closet space begins :) Probably need to have an addition put on the house just for her shoes :jest:

What is it with women and shoes anyway?

I have tons of jackets and shoes also! Has Katia been to the U.S. before? How fun would it be to come here and learning for the first time how awesome shopping for shoes in the US can be? I have never been to Chicago, but the things I would want to see are the big buildings. .....and let's not forget Oprah.

I'm wondering what Dave will find interesting about Utah since we only spent a few days here and it was about 95 degrees at the time. I hope he gets here around Christmas so that I can take him to Temple Square. The lights display is amazing. I'm not sure what else I can awe him with since he spent time in the US as a student and visited Chicago and Boston lots already.

I guess when we check back in 3 months we will know A LOT more about what our SOs think is amazing.
