I'm starting this day off sending massive loads of positivity to CSC ...... Anyone want to join?

Me! I want my NOA2!

 Me Too!! Come one CSC Let this be the week!!!

Good Tuesday everyone! First, I'm putting all my positive thoughts with CSC for all those still waiting for NOA2s...this will be the week we all finish up :)

So I left town Friday afternoon to drive to San Francisco for pre-wedding meetings with possible vendors. I know I should've been ecstatic, but I was pretty down. It seemed silly to be doing these things so early in the process...especially since the consulate is passing the 4 month expiration date for interviews by 2 months, making a total of six months before an interview. I checked my phone at the halfway point and noticed a missed text message. It was USCIS! All it said was that my status has been updated. I went to my email and saw USCIS said we had been approved! WooHoo! I called Adam and gave him the good news. He thought I was lying, trying to tease him ;) I had to hang up with him, send him the email and then call him back. When he answered the phone, he immediately said "Ok, I believe you now" :) Because I was running around for the two days and driving the other two, all I had time to do was update my timeline. But I really wanted to take some time this morning and recognize the rest of July waiting for NOA2s and say hang in there!

Definitely Good Luck for those waiting on NOA2!!! GO CSC!!! Stay Positive!

I called NVC today and our packet left on Friday already and so I called the Embassy in Moscow and they did get it today. I asked about the interview and they will give me the interview date tomorrow, but she said it will be in November in any case. So I'm gonna call back tomorrow morning and we'll finally have a clue as to when we'll be together again! I'm so excited. I think we're near the point where we can start actually cementing some wedding plans. I think we are going to get married the day after Christmas :)

Good Luck Everyone! I'm crossing fingers and toes for you!

Don't worry, like they said its normal. I don't know what it means, but the lady at NVC told me that Moscow does everything... so maybe that means for my case NVC doesn't do a whole lot of processing. Maybe its different depending on the country the packet is headed to. Although you would think Russia would be on the longer processing side of things than others.

In any case, I'll bet your paperwork will be headed on to your embassy before the week is over...give them a couple days. KEEP THE FAITH! :D

Just an FYI - there is AP at every step and security checks at every step of the visa process for the petitioner and the beneificiary. This is standard so dont worry when you hear the word "AP" or you will make yourself crazy

Thats funny! I was thinking about that too... with Chicago, although not as bad as LA, that maybe I'd get a NAV for the car. I think its a good idea so I won't get lots of phone calls; "I took a left when I shoulda taken a right and now I just saw a sign that says 'Welcome to Wisconsin'. HELP!"

I remember the first time I drove in LA, omg what a nightmare lol. Seattle luckily is easy, just follow the water.....everything here is pretty much built around Puget sound, so I tell Damo, if you find yourself on the wrong side of the water, just take a ferry! :D Everything is a grid system here, only thing on my side of the water, everything is built amongst the huge trees, so you really cant see where you need to get to.

Thanks for the words of support. Talked to our attorney and he said the same thing, that ap could mean that they are just getting our paperwork together to send off. Which is probably the case. His response was,"Eh, dont worry about it, you have me and I sue them atleast 100 times a year." Thats the main reason I hired him, he was referred to me from a friend of mine that use to work for immigration. So he is well known over there and they dont like to mess with him to much from what she told me, lol.

Damo is getting his fingerprints done today. Thats atleast a 2-4 week wait so even if we have a little delay, its ok. We cant do anything until he gets those back.

Well, I'm off to work! Talk to you peeps later!

Hugs!

I asked for a tracking number, but the lady said "you should wait to be contacted by your local embassy" :(

Any of you guys is having the same answer? Or any tracking number for UPS?

IT brings us closer each day!

I posted it in this thread, its in one of my earlier posts... but here it is again:

1) 2 days after NOA2, starting calling NVC: 603-334-0700 press 1 then 5.

2) Once NVC has your case, they assign a new case #. Ask them what date they sent your file to the embassy & also for the NVC case #.

3) Once you know the date NVC sent off the file, track it at DHL's website: http://track.dhl-usa.com/TrackByRef.asp?nav=TrackByRef For the reference code, enter EXP 10 JUL 2009A (adjust using dates just before the date NVC told you), with a shipping range of that day to a few days later (July 13 - July 14 worked for the example above). Look for shipments to your beneficiary's embassy.

4) To find out if the embassy processed the packet, call the Dept of State before 5pm: 202-663-1225 press 1 then 0

5) You can also call the DoS to find out your interview date once you believe the embassy has scheduled it.

I put in EXP 09 OCT 2009A and then the range I think I put 08 OCT 2009 - 10 OCT 2009 or something like that. Then you will get a list of about 50, go through them and find the Embassy your package is going to and you will see its status. Mine showed it was delivered today, and signed for. I then called the embassy and they confirmed it.
