Okay... don't get me wrong, I'm NOT complaining by any means!

But, when I went to bed last night, we were 197 on Igor's list. When I woke up we were 181.

181???

How did we jump 16 spaces overnight? Any thoughts? End of month/beginning of new month adjustment or something? Again, I'm NOT complaining, I'll certainly take it!! I just want to make sure it's real!! lol

That is odd! Same thing here - When I checked yesterday we were around 214 and now we are around 198.

Have a great day everyone :)

We are one day closer!!

Happy 1st of September!

Yeah, we jumped to 185 or something like that. I don't put much stock into the actual number since it requires people to actually update their status and i imagine there is a certain percent of people that don't. That said, I think the progress we see is a good indicator of how things are going so I'm real excited.

Not sure if you guys read the posting someone else put up about the USCIS making a push to complete as many applications as they can by the end of their fiscal year (end of Sept 2009). I hope thats what we are seeing and that they are successful :) Look how quick they processed May apps and there are about 30-40% less apps in June!

I can't help to keep dreaming of a Christmas together, am I being too hopeful? I hope not :(

September cannot come fast enough.

I hear you on that! Come onnnnnnn September! And a whole mess of approvals with it!

Aaaaaand... there are only 60 or so June filers (on Igor's, obviously, not total) compared to the nearly 100 May filers.

So I'm hoping this pace keeps up and they fly right through them.

EVERYTHING CROSSED!

Agreed! I filed on 18 July and received NOA 23 July. From the beginning of this entire process I committed myself to be patient. Very patient. I don't check as frequent as most but I remain optimistic that September (end of) or beginning of October will be the month for the NOA 2. Now I work for the Fed Govt and I'm hoping that Fed Workers at the CSC are back from their summer vacations and things may speed up. In addition the Fed fiscal year is coming to an end and if they have quotas to meet I sure am hoping the zoom through whats left!

Good luck to all!

With the beginning June filers getting NOA2 in late August, the apparent lower number of filers for June and July than May, and a hopeful big 'push' to get backlog knocked down before Sept is over, I think some of the beginning to mid July filers might be seeing NOA2s before September's out.

we can hope.

I am not here often, as I am trying to keep myself (especially my worrying mind) busy with other things.

As for jumping so much... It seems to me from my own observations that only the most recent 15 NOA2 DATES are posted in the first list, not the last 15 timelines updated for NOA2s. So if a bunch of procrastinators come and update their timeline today, when they in fact got their NOA2s more than a few days ago, it's not going to show on that first list and all of us are going to 'jump' in line without us readily seeing a reason.

Jeez, I hate how the CSC drags their heels at the beginning of the month.

They've been doing so amazingly well lately, we've all jumped so many spaces on Igor's, and they're clearly processing June apps! And catching up on old OLD cases, which THRILLS me! Those people deserve approval more than anyone!!

So, why did I wake up and check Igor's this morning, and feel so deflated when we didn't move?

This whole process messes with your mind so much. Each little sign of hope or despair, it's ridiculous!

More than anything... I guess I'm just really, really missing Neil today. :(

Sorry for the blahs post, guys. But if you all don't understand who will, right? Isn't that why we have a July CSC group, to celebrate and commiserate with each other?

Don't feel bad, going through the same thing. Its a horrible feeling to have your happiness in someone else's hands, that they look through your life on paper and can make a yes or no decision on your future together. It makes me angry at times but we're slaves to the system. All we can do is wait and hope...

I hear that!! Okay, I think I can manage to keep a lid on my impatience long enough to enjoy the Holiday. I can even go so far as to wish the employees of the CSC a happy and relaxing three day weekend. Then...

That's exactly how I felt when I checked today!! Dave and I just spent 2 weeks together and are now hoping to be able to get married the first part of January. Now we're out of money to go visit each other and need to start saving for the big move and the wedding reception. *tick*tick*tick*tick*

Hi everyone!

I've been a member of this site since june, and a lurker here even longer and I can't believe I haven't seen this thread until now! So nice to meet other people who are in the same boat as Wade and myself. We filed july 15, and our timeline says we might get our NOA2 between october 16-20. It sounds incredible fast, so we're hoping the estimation is correct. It's such a drawnout process, so lets hope for a smooth journey for all of us july 09 filers

Welcome!! I filed just a couple of days after you! Hopefully time will fly and we'll have our sweeties hear by the new year.

As of right now, Dave needs to get his birth certificate and police record in hand.. and I need to send him a signed aff. of support as soon as we get our NOA2.. I already gave him the IRS papers and my W2s last time I was there. Can anyone think of anything else?

With the way CSC has been going, I wouldn't be suprised if we started getting NOA2s within 4-6 weeks!!!

Thank you x) Your filing date is very close to our, it'll be exciting to see how close all of us july filers will be as far as the NOA2 will be. I am actually not the one who is petitioning this, although I¨'ve been doing my fair share of the paperwork all along

I believe the guys here at the forum advice us to bring an extra copy of everything you sent in for the I-129f, so make sure he has that on hand for his interview. Also when we spoke to the embassy here in Norway, they told me that they'd like to see an ongoing relationship and proof of this from the date we filed to the date of the interview as well. So perhaps he ought to bring some current proof as well, although I guess the Norwegian embassy could be more interested in this than your embassy? I also read he should bring a copy of the NOA2 that you receive in the mail, as well as a letter of your intent to marry him with the continued support of the K1-visa. I don't know if there's any hickups with his medical, but in my case I have asthma and will be bringing documentations of this in case they discover anything out of the ordinary.. there is just so much to remember and be prepared for, you know?!

And yes, it would be really, really nice if we see some NOA2s during the next month and two!

Just a quick question,

did any of you notice a touch in your case yet? I am just dying to receive an e-mail about our case, but so far it seems as if I got to be patient. Yarrr.. it's just so hard to wait when I want to be with Wade so badly!
