It's official - i'm putting the book "the secret" into motion this weekend -

I'm clearing up my place as if he is moving in tomorrow

1. making duplicates of my keys

2. emptying drawers

3. 1/2 of closet for him - ok maybe just a quarter

4. forget the garage (that's his job)

5. clearing out the nightstand for him

The secret says - act and imagine that it is really happening and it will....

So here we go - That's my plan for this weekend - along with obsessively checking USCIS on saturday and finishing my taxes which are due next week.

I wish he was here.

Just as much as i wish my NOA2 was here.

I think this is an absolutely WONDRFUL idea, Marie! I admire your strength so much!! The Secret combined with strong great vibes from all of us!

Malarie, T & G, and Marie!! You hear me, CSC??

And congrats, Kitty! So thrilled for you!

How's everyone doing this friday?

I'm still hoping for more NOA2s, they could come both today and/or notices tomorrow. Last time there was a rush of approvals it was while I was sleeping.. so perhaps I ought to go to bed and simply not wake up until all of the julyers have been approved  I'll be the first one to admit I would have a freak out and huge personal crisis if it was me still waiting for my NOA2. You guys are so tough and I can't wait until you have your approvals!

Btw, has everyone with a NOA2 received it in the mail as well as made it to NVC?

Wade and I are still waiting for the hard copy to arrive and we called NVC today as well and still no sign of it. I'm trying not to stress the fact it's not there, but I can't help but wonder if it's stuck somewhere or perhaps on its way to AP. Oh well.. I guess all we can do right now is wait and try again next week

Aaaanyway, come on CSC - show us the goodies!

I bought Damo a dresser for his clothes. And put little vanilla sachets in it to make it smell nice, because im addicted to antiques, and for some reason they always smell like moth balls. :hehe:

Im gonna clean out the closet and make it ready for him, there is a ton of storage in there for all his comics. He has a ton and I told him to start mailing them over now. Thats what he use to do, he was a comic book artist so its ok,. Im a pack rat so I have alot of things to go through. I have already bought him his moutain bike and helmet, the public transit here is amazing with the ferries so no need for a car. And the ferry dock is right across the street, I actually go crab fishing off it. Dungeness crab abounds here. Ok I'm done rambling hehe.

Man I still cant believe we are all getting so close, when last week none of us were this far.

Hugs to all of you, and its such a great great day to see all the approvals!!!!! Grats everyone!!!!

Hi Jules,

so happy to hear you're keeping yourself busy with preparing for Damo to come. I get very happy and excited when I read about the preparation other couples are doing and it makes me even more eager to get on with my own life. I'm so ready to move out of here, but as long as I don't have any for sure date, I can't just guess when I will be able to cut all my ties - so to speak. I don't want to risk sitting without a home, electricity or income because of faulty calculations :innocent: BUT for each day passing, we're creeping closer to the POE so I can't complain.. just wait patiently (ok, that's a lie, I am not that patient, lol) and hope the rest of the journey will be quick.

You know I didn't even think of that.. last week none of us were this far. Isn't that crazy?? Now we just need the rest of our july friends to catch up and I'll be in bliss about everyone's progress here (F)

Hmmmmm there are no approvals today from the CSC and only 4 from VSC.

Still holding onto the hope that I will receive a message in the middle of the night as others did last night .... who knows maybe the approval messages go out in batches? Ok I'm grasping here but hey it sounds good doesnt it?

Everyone have a good night!!

OMG! That's how I feel when I drive to the post office and check everyday!!! Today I called NVC 3 times, and when I finally called at 8 pm EST time they said they had it. I asked if they had a new number to give me that will help us get the medical scheduled and the lady said no. I thought that we were assigned a new number when it arrived there, but maybe it's at the DOS that they have that number.

The ****** *** told me to wait for the embassy to send my fiance the information and that will tell us exactly what we need to do. YEAH F****** RIGHT!!!!!!!!!!!

- only slightly emotional today - ;)

By the way, I've heard that you ABSOLUTELY CAN NOT LOSE NOA2. If you do they charge you a lot to get another copy.

OK, that's a funny idea. How exactly would a USCIS employee dress?

I saw a customs official at the airport with a dog when I got back from the UK last month. That was cute!! It was a little Bassett Hound at the Denver airport. It was the first time I had been coming back from international travel through an airport in almost 10 years.
