Yes, definitely because then there are applications in the system that aren't reflected in the list. But overall you can consider the timeline accurate enough to give you a reasonable idea of when to expect to hear something. As things are progressing now I'd say they should be starting on June applicants by the 2nd week of September hopefully.

This may seem like an odd question ...But has anyone considered the option of getting married in the country of their loved one and try doing the visa process that way?

Everyone I tell my story to tells me I was stupid not to get married to him on my last visit because it would have been so much of a faster process.

On a side note...i can't believe they started attacking June apps! how exciting!!!

So now i'm a stalker of the uscis website as well as igor's list!

September cannot come fast enough.

I hear you on that! Come onnnnnnn September! And a whole mess of approvals with it!

Aaaaaand... there are only 60 or so June filers (on Igor's, obviously, not total) compared to the nearly 100 May filers.

So I'm hoping this pace keeps up and they fly right through them.

EVERYTHING CROSSED!

We talked about this and now I'm trying to remember why we ruled it out...

I think we found out that if I went to the UK, I'd need to live there for six months without being able to work to establish residency before we could marry. Or something. And that wasn't a financial option for us. We've been embroiled in all the rules and regs of K1 for so long now, I can't remember. I'd have to ask Neil, he may remember.

And I know we didn't opt for the K3 visa, where you marry first and then apply for AOS to live here in the States because we decided we'd rather spend our time apart before we were married, not after.

Not sure if this is what you were wondering or not. If not, ignore my rambling.

Okay... don't get me wrong, I'm NOT complaining by any means!

But, when I went to bed last night, we were 197 on Igor's list. When I woke up we were 181.

181???

How did we jump 16 spaces overnight? Any thoughts? End of month/beginning of new month adjustment or something? Again, I'm NOT complaining, I'll certainly take it!! I just want to make sure it's real!! lol
