Aw, Marie! I'm so sorry you're not feeling well, I too wish you had your fiancè there to make you feel better. It always feel better when you have someone to love and care for you when you're under the weather. Just hang in there, hun, it'll be your turn soon and then everything will feel so much better. Try to get a little extra sleep, try and eat something and try to keep your spirits up even though it's hard.

So since I'm still obsessed with checking the USCIS website even after NOA2, I see they've given another touch today... wonder if thats related to them sending the packet to NVC?

Now we're planning the wedding, getting pushed into having it here in Chicago but in the end maybe it'll be for the better. Since her father will come from Russia I've been trying to find an officiant that can do the ceremony in Russian/English, but no luck :(

So I'm waiting for some more NOA2 announcements people! :dancing:

There is 1 for VSC.... only 1

I'm thinking they might approve today, but the updates may not show until tomorrow? Based on the fact so many of us got approved on the 2nd, yet we were alerted about this the following day (by e-mail, phone, at the gov site). So perhaps there's been more approvals, and they will show tomorrow? :star:

I'm so sorry you're sick, Marie. :( You sure don't need that on top of all this stress. I'm on the verge of tears all the time, and I'm having to fight to hold it together. (and failing most of the time). If you need ANYTHING please send me a message. Yours have helped me so much.

I'm sending you all kinds of love today. (L)(L)(L)

I thought I should post this, something I read on another thread somewhere that I've saved for this part of the process. Maybe you have it already, but just in case here it is:

1) 2 days after NOA2, starting calling NVC: 603-334-0700 press 1 then 5.

2) Once NVC has your case, they assign a new case #. Ask them what date they sent your file to the embassy & also for the NVC case #.

3) Once you know the date NVC sent off the file, track it at DHL's website: http://track.dhl-usa.com/TrackByRef.asp?nav=TrackByRef For the reference code, enter EXP 10 JUL 2009A (adjust using dates just before the date NVC told you), with a shipping range of that day to a few days later (July 13 - July 14 worked for the example above). Look for shipments to your beneficiary's embassy.

4) To find out if the embassy processed the packet, call the Dept of State before 5pm: 202-663-1225 press 1 then 0

5) You can also call the DoS to find out your interview date once you believe the embassy has scheduled it.

Yes, don't stress...the touches are good. Don't forget I got 2 touches (10/1 and 10/2) and didn't get my approval notice until 9:45am (CST) on Saturday (10/3). So hang in there, touches are good. Better that they are looking at your file than not :D
