All of you July 09 filers are so good spirited and so inviting. You accepted a May 09 filer like your own in your thread, and as soon as I came here that is when I got approved. See you are all the lucky bunch. (F)

Awwww Star ... Thank you :-) I told you ...we pretty much adopted you here!!!

So tell me...since you received your noa2 ...has anything changed between you and your fiance (I suppose this is a question for all noa2 receipients!!!) Is there a new found hope and excitement that is different from when you are started this process???

And have you started the next step??? And so now you have to wait for the package to go to nvc right?

How exciting really! I can just imagine what you are all going through ...I think when we get ours ...I'm going to feel like a chicken with its head cut off ...not knowing what to do (although I know the steps) but I just think for the 2 days following noa2 I might just be in too much shock ...

I'm already thinking about how to surprise my fiance when I get the good news (bc I will know before him) maybe play a joke on him!! Hahaha

Well this is afterall a great weekend for us ...although I'm anxious more than ever ...I am still hopeful the rest of us will get our noa2's soon!!!!! My only fear at this point is that our file gets lost and disappears into csc abyss. So for the rest of us, let's hope for a typical, standard process and approval in the next week or two! Yayyyyyy!!!!!!!

Happy Sunday everyone :-)

And guess what! Tomorrow is a brand new week of processing! Woohooooooooo

Thank you! But, you never made me feel like I was adopted here :). Maybe you were all suppossed to be May 09 filers too . Things between me and my fiance have not changed, but that I have a more positive outlook then before as he always was very confident about our approval. But, definitely the excitement is there that we are almost done. Now the tough part is if he can get the paperwork done in due time at his end . I have to get my employment letter and mail out the petition to him next week. He was pretty much expecting that the NOA2 will come on Friday and it did. I called him awhile ago and he was sleeping but I had texted him when we got the NOA2 on Saturday morning as soon as I found out. On Friday I was having one of those breakdowns in the morning, but when I saw that touch I got a lot of confidence back in the process. Luckily, I talked to my fiance that day and he told me not to worry and think positive. Yeah, the next step is they are going to send it off to NVC and then it will go to consulate. I think that is a 2 week wait. I have been updating him all that he needs to get done, like his police clearance.

Tomorrow is going to be another wonderful day and many approvals to come soon. Hope you are having a good Sunday too. I could imaging what you are going through as I have been there many times and just to know your almost there is the worst wait of all. At the end it is truely worth it though.

Hi folks, this is the Wade half of Wade+Kristin :)

Kristin is really the forum poster between the two of us, but I have been following along with all of the posts in the July thread. I just wanted you all to know, I have appreciated all the support and community that has been shared here. You were all a blessing to us during this process and a point of sanity in the agonizing waiting process. We will stay in touch when this is finished to share future adventures/trouble and happiness after the arrival of my Kristin. This has been such a stressful time for all of us during this wait. I've come close to putting my head in the freezer and just screaming in frustration. The neighbors think i'm weird anyway, who cares, right? I'm excited for all of the ones who have already been approved and I'm praying for the rest of you to have speedy approvals in the next couple of days. I'm not telling you to have faith in the US gov, but to have faith in the rightness and dedication of your hard work and patience to each other and this process. Again I've enjoyed and gained from all of your posts and sharing, good luck to all of you in your fast approvals, travels and long awaited reunion with your loved ones.

Wade

Awwwww gosh this has got to be the best group ever!

I swear some of these posts are worst than a romantic movie! I'm always ready to cry when I read some of ýour messages!!!! Thank you for the support ...

And for all of you with noa2's ...don't forget about us still waiting for ours! Hahahahhaha and I say after this is all done...we meet in vegas and celebrate!!! We all have such beautiful stories to tell.

I called my fiance ...and it was 9.00pm his time and he was sleeping....I think he is so frustrated and doesn't tell me bc he is too busy trying to be calm and positive for me. It is hard to maintain a relationship when you know the next step is dependant on a stranger reviewing your file (life)! Hahaha

I think I'm going to spend the rest of the afternoon doing my laundry and going over some of the papers for the next step :) maybe ill go through our pictures and remember the good times I had with my fiance ... Miss him so much.

Thanks again to all of you.

This weekend has been some of best days in awhile. It was the first time I have been able to devote total attention to MSN Messenging in the past two weeks since our schedules changed and I only get to talk to him while I am at work. Last weekend I spent too much time at the library working on some papers.

Because we dont Skype or talk on the phone very often I start to feel disconnected a lot. LUCKILY I did call him yesterday while I was at the Reptile Expo to tell him how cute the pygmy chameleons were and how awesome it would be to have either a tortoise or monitor instead of a dog. It was $6.90 for the 10 minute call so I stopped at the store that sells Central American groceries and bought a phone card. It works out to be $.14 a minute, which is cheaper than using Skype to call him since he only has a cell phone.

Results - feeling better, and I am now done with the first of the 4 months apart we expect.

Hugs and kisses everyone!!

Well its been a great weekend. Went out and celebrated with my best friend last night. Then realized after the initial shock all the stuff I still have to get done before he comes. Go through all my years of stuff and clear out the closet for him, you know little things like that.

He got very emotional after I read him the email yesterday. We cried for atleast an hour. I still cant believe we got it, and I cant wait until we are all talking about the next steps to take in this journey. He is moving this next week, so I have to put in a change of address in for him, anyone know where to do that? He is going to go ahead and get his fingerprinting done and his medical. So that will be all done by the time he gets his packet. Melbourne takes about 4 weeks to return the fingerprint results, so might as well do it now. My mother is co sponsoring us, so she is sending all that info to me hopefully by the end of the week. Its funny how you go from worrying about your noa2 to worrying about all the stuff for the next step. Damo wants me to be there at the consulate interview with him. So need to get plane tickets and such together. Ok, need to stop stressing and just enjoy this little triumph.

Hugs to everyone, and hopefully by the end of this next week, we will all be at the same stage.

Jules

So.... I'm thinking Bachelorette Party in Vegas in December maybe. My sister and a few friends are definitely excited to go!! I bought a shirt that said "Buy me a shot I'm tying the knot." If anyone wants to meet up just let me know. I will have a Tshirt waiting for you as well. :luv:

BTW, Men of Olympic Gardens - definitely on the list of things I want to see before I get married:D

Also, if anyone wants to meet up for a more conservative Vegas party in July 2010 let me know. We can start planning for that too. :D

Not sure what to do about Damo moving. Its funny I was going to change his info tomorrow, at USCIS but since we got the noa2 on saturday, I dont know who to call or anything. Do I call NVC? or the Consulate? Stressing...... :girlwerewolf2xn: ......... grrrrr.

Vegas huh? It's close...major bonus :) I never really entertained the idea of a list of things before I'm married. I guess I got too wrapped up in the technicals of the paperwork and waiting to have some fun with this process. My fiance is a huge fan of Vegas and asked if he could reserve the right to have his bachelor party after we're married. He wants to go to Vegas too, but knows we'll be kind of tight financially for a bit. I would love to be a fly on the wall with him and his friends in Vegas...I'm know they'll have a blast! I'm sure you will too! Enjoy Men of Olympic Gardens :) Sounds fantastic! Thanks for the reminder to enjoy our time. We'll all get what we want before we know it, and we'll be able to look back on these experiences as a tiny blip of time in our lives.

Goodnight July. Wishing everyone sweet and peaceful dreams...and a very productive gov't week!
