Hi guys,

hope you're all having a good thursday, I'm waiting eagerly to see if CSC will speed up their approvals again. One can only hope, especially since this is OUR month, everyone!

Marie, I can't really say you're checking the website too often.. I am guilty of the same crime if so! Wade actually read what I posted here earlier about intern competition between him and I to find the NOA2.. so now it's on  If I haven't checked the site all the time before, I sure will now, haha. My timeline did a move too, from the 27th to the 20th so I'm very pleased about that. I'm also all for a reunion too! You guys, all of you, have been so great during all of this and I don't know how I'd feel right now if I didn't discover this site.

Nancy, I hear you! I let my life swallow me for a couple of days so I could change my focus some. It was hard to be stuck in the same pattern, so I feel a whole lot better now. The fact it's october also helps a bunch, new month - new approvals and all that jazz! It seems as if your little break did you good, high spirits and everything. Which is awesome, you deserve to be in a good mood, we all do!

Mark, thank you for sharing your story with us. I find it very interesting to learn how all of you met, long distance relationships are not something most people deal with. In fact, I don't know anyone here but me in one. Regarding the paperwork I can tell you that we have started gathering our documents for sure. I have even been in contact with the doctor that might do my medical, I figure the more prepared we are, the less chance of having any delays caused by us once I'm able to go to the interview. How about everyone else here?

Jules, I'm glad you did join and decided to share your story and this waiting time with us! It's hard enough to wait as it is, at least here you can have someone to share your anticipation with. I remember my first post here, I was SO happy about finding people in the same boat as I am. I simply love our little group  Good luck with your editing, at least it should keep your mind busy for a little while.

Aaanyway, I've been writing a whole chapter here by replying to you all, so I'll hush up now! Let's keep our fingers crossed for october - something should happen real, real soon xD

Do any of you feel like every day you are at a casino playing a game?

What do I mean? Every time I look up on Igor's list or USCIS.GOV that moment that it takes for the update to load up on my screen feels like I'm waiting for the little white ball in roulette to land on my choice of color or the wheels on the slot machines to land at 7 7 7 or to hit that infamous 21 in blackjack... then the screen reloads and guess what ... i'm NOT A WINNER!

That's how I feel lately - bc we are so close ... I feel any day now I'll hit the jackpot ... just not yet! ugh!!!!!

How is this fabulous group doing today???? :P

I completely agree! I check it about 30 times a day...sometimes hitting refresh while letting my eyes glaze over on the computer screen.

Guess all this waiting, all this anxiety and sublime excitement, will only make the approval that much greater.

We all have such tremendous love stories, though - it's a shame to put them on hold.

I totally agree, its as addicting as gambling lol. I was fine until it hit october, was only checking the site like once a week, maybe twice, ok three. But I have been ordered by my significant other to cease lol. I have been either here or there since yesterday lol. And yes i hit the refresh screen as well. And our whole conversation on the phone today was me telling him about you guys lol.

Man skype is a good thing. He has a skype cell phone so i get to talk to him while he is driving to work, on his lunch break and I wake up early to talk to him before he goes to bed, and believe me thats early. Ok I admit it, i probably talk to him more than I sleep. So not only will it be great when he gets here, but I'll get sleep as well! haha. Well eventually.....

Excuse me?! Skype cell phone? I would be the most annoying fiance EVER if Mark had that.

Today was pretty rough. I was pretty much asked by my Other to "quite being crazy...please". As the time draws nearer, I realize I'm obsessing a little more. I'm not a control freak (well maybe a little), but I hate that my fate is in someone elses hands...and that Adam is so calm and collected. Actually, I really like that. It helps me keep perspective, but it can be annoying from time to time :) I've only known about "the list" for two days and I check it more than facebook! iPhone really needs to develop an app for this ;) I will attempt more patience tomorrow.

Hahahaha - today I talked to my fiance and he brought up skype and we had an argument about it ....he said I need to use skype and I just can't deal with setting it all up and figuring out how to use it - and they don't have any special plans to lebanon ...whatever the reason I just haven't so I call him directly from my cell and he told me I'm crazy and his friend kept telling him about skype ...anyway, just laughing cause you guys mentioned skype today.

Yes, refresh refresh refresh .... My life is about refreshing lol lol

So tomorrow is 10/2 ...what so you think??? Will we have our first july filer approval??? Maybe we got one today and don't even know it.

Ps ... Thank god for my blackberry - I make use of my internet access to continue refreshing when I'm not at work.

Actually he does take his skype phone to work with him lol. Him and I chat the whole time he is there. Its cool because I dont have a cell phone bill anymore, sure beats those 800 dollar ones i use to get. All free now!

His skype phone went offline the other night for about an hour and he started panicking lol. Im on the phone right now with him telling him about this conversation we are having. I only wish we had skype phones here in the us, but the big wigs would lose to much money on those international plans..... Oh wait, you can get the app for blackberry etc. hehe.

I usually take my laptop with me so i can chat to him anywhere on my wireless. Who needs a cell phone? lol. :D

Adam and I always joke that if we won the lottery, we'd send a portion to Skype for making this long distance thing a little less painful. One really good thing about Skype - I've already acclimated to Adam's intense snoring so I won't be sleep deprived when he finally gets here! We'll talk right before he goes to bed and sometimes he'll fall asleep while it's still on. My friends will call on the phone and ask what that awful noise is...it's pretty loud. I find it soothing :) I know he's there with me even if I can't see him.

All of you hang in there, and the approvals will come soon. I am trying, but I guess my assumption about approving RFE's very quickly was wrong. They are taking their sweet time with mine. Just when I thought things were getting better with CSC. Also, I hope you don't mind that I come here and post from time to time. It helps to vent with others who are waiting as well.

No nothing since the last touch. It seems like the officer stopped working on my case on 9/24. I hope I get some news.
