Hi Kristin,

Actually I am still sleeping when he goes to bed, then I wake up and go to the office and wait until like 2 pm my time for him to wake up. So that leaves us only just a few hours into the day to be together. And not even then because we both work and I can't use messenger from the office - as any other big corporation ours has firewalls too to prevent us from doing anything else but work. Thus, the little time that we get is so precious that we try to make the most of it. On weekends however it's different. ;)

I am so looking forward to get all the paperwork done so I can finally be with him! For 6 long years we've done nothing but run from a place to another, miss each other even when we were together knowing that one of us had to leave eventually. But on the sunny side, we've spent the most beautiful vacations ever!

GO CSC and VSC!!!!

I only got some hours to talk to Wade each day too, our time schedules have not matched up very well lately but it's weekend now so I'm happy about getting to talk to him more. I'm hoping you'll have a great weekend with your honey, no firewalls or anything to prevent you from talking ;) Wade and I met in 03, so I know what you mean about bouncing back and forth between countries, trying to be together. At least after this we don't have to do it again x)

And hi everyone else too! Last day before the weekend really kicks in, so lets hope the office will buckle down and do some serious work today. Like everyone else, it's hard not to feel frustrated by the way things have been at CSC lately.. the list is barely moving and my timeline got bumped back 3 days. I'm just trying to focus on the fact october should be more promising, but if the timelist keep moving like this I'll eventually land in november instead

Buuut, today IS another day and hopefully we'll see some decent movement on Igors! Have a nice weekend everyone

Hi Kristin,

Yes! New day! I have resigned to the belief that next week is when we will see progress :) I don't know ...I don't want to get my hopes up for tomorrow! Ugh.

I too have been pushed forward to october 30 for my timeline.

I just finished talking to my fiance ....thank god I love his voice so much because it is enough to calm me down! :)

Looks like a lot of us have known our other half for quite some years ...I actually met mine in 1999 .... Can you believe it!!! And finally we are coming together !!! :)

There is a reason for everything right??

I can't sleep tonight ....so here I am :) hope you have a great day :)

Maybe we will get lucky today/tomorrow (friday) last activity was 9/22 so we have a couple of days of no reporting ...so I'm sure a lot of people haven't updated yet! (Trying to be optimistic).

Funny how some random process --- k1 visa ---can bring strangers together ...I feel like we are all connected somehow because of this silly process ...

Have a good one everyone! Talk tomorrow :-)

Hi Marie x)

I'm so happy to hear that you had a good talk to your fiancè, communication really is everything when we're apart like this so it's especially nice when you have such a good talk! So you have actually known him for ten years, wow! And here I was thinking that Wade and I have waited long before finally deciding to do something so we can be together ;-) You must be so relieved that this whole long distance thing is about to come to an end (L)

Your comment about how it seems we're all connected is really sweet and I think by the time all this is done, even after the NOA2s, we'll all know each other even better.. it kinda turns out that way after we've shared so much frustration, impatience, happiness and excitement with each other. I am truly fond of our little VJ group here

Have a nice day everyone!

I wanted to say thank you so much to everyone for the Birthday wishes. :)

I really, reeeally was hoping, as you know, for a big, shiny NOA2 wrapped in a bow as my present. And for so long leading up to today it looked as though we had a good chance at that. Now that my birthday is here, I'm finding I want it to pass as quickly as all these other days so we can all get approved.

When I think of how quickly a year has gone since my last birthday, it is comforting when I think "next year (and every year after) I'll be celebrating with my wonderful husband."

All that said, we shouldn't feel bad for being so sad or frustrated. I think it's obvious at this point that the CSC either stopped working on K-1s because they hit their quota before the end of the fiscal year, or that they're helping with Vermont cases if that is even possible.

I've said since I joined VJ that I would go crazy if I were a Vermont filer, watching the CSC move so much faster. So even if it isn't me, I just have to be soooo happy for them. They have to employ so much more patience than we do on a regular basis.

aaaaaaanyhooooow... I will enjoy my birthday today. I'm determined to not be sad or upset or worried. I can do that tomorrow!

Thanks again, everyone! you made me feel great. I love our group. (L)

Happy B-Day! Hope you have a great day and weekend!

I was lucky this year to be able to spend my b-day with Katia (its actually my profile pic - us together at Pflansee, Austria on my b-day). Unfortunately we weren't able to be together on hers, but like you said, hopefully thats the last time.

I really hope they rebound from this slump with some vigor cause its really killed my mood this week :(

....anyone else thinking Canada might do? ;)

I dont mind Canada, but the UK is way too pricy for me. My sweetie rents a small room and pays the same amount every month for it that I pay for the mortgage on my 2 bedroom condo. Not that it's anything special, but it will be big enough for the three of us and it's in a decent area.

Yes, believe me I'm starting to think that way this week. We've moved backwards! Both of us could be together in Europe, we both have visas to live there. I've started to second guess my decision to move back here and attempt this process, its turned me into a grumpy bitter person :(

I hear you. Same.

And to think, I was thrilled at the thought of early to mid October. Knowing 3 months is on the ohhhhhhhh so lucky end of things around here.

But then we got our hopes for so much more. The timeline would be absolutely fine... if only it had never moved sooner. :(
