Happy B-day Nancy!!! It is only now that I realized it. (F) May all your wishes come true, all of them at once!!! :-)

Hi Kristin,

Seems we are on more or less on the same time frame. Here is GMT +2. I will be moving to Little Rock, AR and while the climate in my country of origin is temperate-mediteraneean - 4 seasons, heavy winters, very hot and dry summers, in AR the climate is very different. Light winters, barely any snow, very hot and humid summers - sometimes humidity can reach up to 85 percent. I went there in July for the first time and it had rained almost every other day. It didn't bother me at all though. I would move to Alaska just to be with my baby!

I can't wait!!!!! :crying:

Thanks for the warm and wonderful birthday wishes, Kitty and Kristin! Today's my last day of work and then I'm off tomorrow to celebrate in style. Which, this year, will consist of time with my family and a skype date with Neil!

Oh well, like many other "lasts", much like your walk home Kristin, I'm consoling myself with the fact that this will be my last ever birthday without him!

Hang in there, everyone! I'm still hoping for a magic birthday NOA2 for a July CSC Filer! We just need that first one to break the ice!

Hi Nancy!

I take it you resigned from work, right? Good for you!!! :-) I am still working though sometimes I feel like giving up myself. But it makes time fly faster. Hopefully it's not going to be too long now, right? :-)

This weekend is my niece's b-day - she will turn 3! She is such a cutie pie! I still have no idea what to get her. I think I will go shopping tomorrow.

255 on Igor's list and counting!

Hi Kitty!

Yes, we're working on the same time frame it seems, I'll be so glad when we switch time zones so we can be on the same schedule as our loved ones! Aren't you too tired having breakfast when they're going to bed and vica virsa!? I think we all are. It sounds to me like you'll face both a new place of living, weather and time zones - and it's all so worth it to be with our cutiepies, isn't it?! (L) Do you think you will miss all the snow during winter? Being away from them is hard but hang in there - we'll all have our NOA2s soon!

Good morning Nancy x)

I wish you a happy Skype date with Neil! Sounds like you'll have a good weekend too, which is good because it lets us take our minds off the immigration process for a little bit. It's comfort in the way you're thinking as well, for each holiday or event that will pass us for now, we'll never have to go through them alone again. No more birthday alone, no more airport goodbye, no more holidays alone and so on. Again, have a great date with Neil, you both deserve it (F)

Other than that... GO CSC GO (perhaps a little cheerleading will make the magic happen!)

Ooohh I didn't notice until now, so happy belated birthday Nancy! I hope you had a wonderful day, and next year you will get to celebrate it with Neil there (L) I just personally can't wait until I can spend all holidays and such with Wade myself.. time is going by so slowly, you know.

And hi everyone else too!

Fall is upon us and it's always so dark in Norway at that time of the year. Can't say I'm looking forward to lone nights in the dark while it's raining and thundering outside. Then again, the other day when I was walking up the hill to my home here, I was thinking about how it's the last time I've to do this alone - which actually put a smile on my face. There won't be much of a change in the weather and climate when I move to the US where we'll be living, how about everyone else? How's the weather and climate where your fiance(e) is from, is it much different? If so do tell! I'm interested to hear about it :star:

Other than that, I'm just watching Igor's moving along in snail pace.. or at least it seem like it compared to last month. I know I'm being impatient right now, october's not even here so I'm just going to try and hang in there.

Have a nice thursday everyone!

Kristin

The weather is QUITE different in Edinburgh than it is in Salt Lake City. Edinburgh is rainy and doesn't get higher than 80F. My city is an hour from the ski slopes and an hour from desert. Last year we probably went under 0F and during the summer it was as high as 105F. The air is always very dry so it makes it easier both ways!!

Our VisaJourney started July 2009 when I mailed the 129-F

Fiance here February 2010, married 10 days later

GC received in the mail 10-Jun-2010

Oh boy, he has some climate changes to adjust to, huh? The weather here is fairly similar to Edinburgh if so, never too cold and never too hot. Has he been to the US to visit you, if so what was his reaction to the weather there? I'm always so interested in hearing how people deal with such changes because I know how poor I am when it comes to it myself

Hi Kristin,

Actually I am still sleeping when he goes to bed, then I wake up and go to the office and wait until like 2 pm my time for him to wake up. So that leaves us only just a few hours into the day to be together. And not even then because we both work and I can't use messenger from the office - as any other big corporation ours has firewalls too to prevent us from doing anything else but work. Thus, the little time that we get is so precious that we try to make the most of it. On weekends however it's different. ;)

I am so looking forward to get all the paperwork done so I can finally be with him! For 6 long years we've done nothing but run from a place to another, miss each other even when we were together knowing that one of us had to leave eventually. But on the sunny side, we've spent the most beautiful vacations ever!

GO CSC and VSC!!!!

Hi Everyone :)

How are you all doing? I'm doing good. Had a nice conversation with my other half. Miss him so much.

Is it only me or is anyone else irate at the fact that VSC has already approved 2 august filers?

Really i'm just so frustrated. This week (although i tried getting optimistic thanks to you all :) ) now i'm just really annoyed.

So i'm sorry for not being happy but i really need to vent. What's is going on with csc??????

i'm tired of predicting or giving them the benefit of the doubt and every day telling myself "today is a new day"

i know we will be together soon but this is just really tiring me out.

The one good thing is what you guys have said - which is thinking about holidays as the last ones we will spend without them ...that's actually really comforting way to think about it.

Wish you all a great day, night, morning, afternoon :)

Nancy - how cute are you guys with your skype date? will there be candles? :) Happy Birthday!!!

Yeah, I'm pretty upset at the lack of progress lately at CSC. Its like they've just decided to not touch July applications. A couple approvals here and there, no REAL progress. I guess Igor knows better, end of October before I'll see anything if I'm lucky. :crying:

Yay! Good news!

Another fellow from June filers got his NOA2!!!

Sorry, it's a March filer... but anyway! yay!

Did you see Igors List?

They approved a June 24th!!

Its happening!!!

Soon we are going to see someone here get thiers!!

I just looked at Igor's list and a VSC couple who's NOA1 dated in AUGUST 2009 was approved ...... huh??????

Trying to keep positive but it kinda seems like us CSC'ers are getting the shaft because VSC was behind and CSC is helping them out...... JMHO (of course)

I am however, VERY happy for the approved couples!!!! Keep those files moving!!

I totally thought there had to be a mistake or maybe you misread ...but it appears you are right! An august filer got approved?!?!!? what??????????? approval in 50 days?!?!?!!?!?!?!?

ok now i'm depressed.

:crying::bonk: <---that's how I feel - that's what this process is doing to me.

Ignore the anomalies, they are likely expedited cases (military)

GO CSC and VSC!!!!

I only got some hours to talk to Wade each day too, our time schedules have not matched up very well lately but it's weekend now so I'm happy about getting to talk to him more. I'm hoping you'll have a great weekend with your honey, no firewalls or anything to prevent you from talking ;) Wade and I met in 03, so I know what you mean about bouncing back and forth between countries, trying to be together. At least after this we don't have to do it again x)

And hi everyone else too! Last day before the weekend really kicks in, so lets hope the office will buckle down and do some serious work today. Like everyone else, it's hard not to feel frustrated by the way things have been at CSC lately.. the list is barely moving and my timeline got bumped back 3 days. I'm just trying to focus on the fact october should be more promising, but if the timelist keep moving like this I'll eventually land in november instead

Buuut, today IS another day and hopefully we'll see some decent movement on Igors! Have a nice weekend everyone
