I don't know, would it hurt to ask for a copy of the NOA1? I mean, its an official document and may be nice to have, although not completely necessary. I guess only if something should ever come up and they misplace your application you have their document (NOA1) to show they did have it.

Either way, NOA2 is what we NEED! Where is it already?!?! Ugh, I'm stressing now that VSC is passing us up after being way behind :help::crying: I knew I should have taken them donuts!

Hey!!! Cheer Up!!!

Yeah! Where is it? I hope one of our fellow July Filers will receive something next week!

I'm looking forward to that!

Marie! We were posting the same thing at the same time!

Hehehehe!

I can't wait!

Maria & Nick:

I can't help it. I live and breath this process. It is getting to the point where I just can't do anything else (really it has gotten to this point)

During lunch I told my fiance - let's just make an island of our own and move there.

Forget immigration and stupid rules!!!

I just want to be with him that's it. That simple. That's what we all want right???

I'm ready to get to the point where we are married, where we complain about the little things in life (like who left the lights on or doors unlocked) where we cuddle ...etc ... i feeling like i am cheating on him with Igors list and uscis.gov!!! lol

Because, by what information is being put into people's timelines, the CSC is not approving NOA2s as fast as before. There were a couple weeks when each day was 5-10 approvals. Now we are seeing 2-3 days pass without any approval. Look at the VSC Igor's List and compare. A couple months ago it was reversed, CSC was approving many more than VSC. If 20 people are being approved in 1 day and you are 40 in line, it would give you a date of 2-3 days, but if tomorrow and ever day for a week, only 1 person is approved, it is going to push the date further away.

Also, on the most recent 15 NOA2 dates are put in, not the 15 most recent updates. So if some lazy slacker got a NOA2 on 6-1-09 but did not update his timeline until today, it's not going to show up on that 15 most recent list, but you'll still see your number 'stealth drop'

Hi again! Sorry for the first short post but I was having troubles trying to post yesterday and I wasn't sure that this time will work.

So, let me start all over again. We filed at VCS, NOA1 on 16th of July and now wait as everyone else I guess. :-)

Can anybody tell me how do I find what number are we on Igor's list (I saw in some posts that you mention having a certain number on the list or moving up or down on the list). I checked the list but I don't seem to figure out how to find my way around. Well, I am blonde and that might be one of the reasons I guess!

Waiting makes me scream with frustration sometimes! However, after discovering this forum I feel a lot better knowing I am not alone!

Thanks and good luck to you all!

Welcome, Kitty! You're free to join us, and watch us cheer each other on or up and slowly lose our minds :) The more, the merrier with us.

But, just so you know, there is also a group just for July Vermont filers. You said you were one. This is a group of folks who filed in California. Here's a link to the Vermont group...

To see yourself on Igor's, and to get an estimated approval date, you need to fill in your timeline. At the top of the page under "my assistant" you can add or edit a timeline. :) Hope this helps.

Hellooooooo to everyone else. I've been down and out with the flu for a few days :( But I've also been employing the "if you have nothing nice to say..." rule, I'm afraid. I have a firm theory at this point that Cali was at an intentional standstill to let Vermont catch up. So it's been a pessimistic few days for me. I was really hoping to see one of us get it this week. :(

Ah well. As a wise man (my amazing fiance) once said... It will happen when it happens.

Hope you're all hanging in there. (L)

P.S. it's early here and I haven't had all my coffee. I see you already have a timeline, Kitty. In that case just go to Igor's list under statistics when you click Immigration Timelines at the top of the page. look at the Vermont list and scroll down to find your month. your name and number should be right there. :)

Hi Nancy,

sorry to hear you're not feeling well, I can't stand being sick myself so my thoughts are with you (F)

I know what you mean about feeling pessimistic, I try very hard myself not to go down that road. In this case, we can't win anyway.. just wait - and wait - and wait. I was so happy to be filing at CSC because of the quick processing time, ironic how we're now in slow motion. Then again, we DID move some over the past day. We just got to hang in there, like you said, it'll be us next!

And hello to everyone else too, both new and 'old' julyers in the thread! Hope you're all doing well and still got patience left. Waiting sucks, we all know that, but hey - we're one day closer :star:

Thanks Nancy!!! You're so smart!!! I wouldn't have checked under Igor's list ever since I was under the impresion that it is the same thing with those silly charts!

Now I've found it! We are 258 on the list. :-(

However, I've seen files from July already approved. I keep my fingers crossed for all of us!

Also, thank you for indicating me the right thread. I only posted here because I saw someone else with a VSC file.

Well, then I will go to where I belong now, not before wishing you a smooth and short visa journey and all the love in the world!

Bless you all!

Thanks again Nancy! No, I haven't felt like you were chasing me away. I really needed some guidance since I am so buffled and puzzled and helplessly blonde!

However, I still owe you our story. So, here it is:

We've met in my country one beautiful summer day, on a train, back in 2003. We are together ever since and we have commuted back and forth to and from Germany where he was stationed. Since he moved back to the States, commuting was not an option anymore. Marriage was always in our minds and to some extent we can say that we have been married in our hearts for all these years. However, society requires more than a heart statement and proof. Thus, here we are, attempting to pass through the Caudine Forks, joining you for a wait that seems endless and painfull as hell!

Well, let's hope for the best and prepare for the worst, right?

PS. You make me feel so much at home it's unbelievable! ;-)
