Ok so I know we started with the positive approach ...but I was just doing some reading in the july filers for vsc forum and apparently 3 july filers had some kind of update ...I think they got their noa2 - well I know two of them did and I'm not sure if the 3rd one got an noa2 or an rfe.

.....................

Ugh.

How are you guys doing????

I'm really wondering what's going on. This is SLOW! We are getting in a week what VSC gets in a day. I hope it's only temporary. Maybe they will transfer our cases to another service center. Then again, Igor's list is just a small percentage of what is waiting at CSC, so it might just be chance that they are not approving our files but still working fine.

It's too bad we don't have people that work there posting on the site right now!!!

Our VisaJourney started July 2009 when I mailed the 129-F

Fiance here February 2010, married 10 days later

GC received in the mail 10-Jun-2010

Able to apply to remove conditions 12-Feb-2012

BABY GIRL BORN JULY 2011!!!

What if we just count the number of days left in September instead of counting the June NOA2s??? No matter what, OCTOBER is our month! :) and were just 8 days away!:dance::dance:

The first phase of this so called "visa journey" wil soon be over...and what's next?? Journey to the Consulate =)

I hope CSC will move faster this week (meaning, some overtime work) as the fiscal year will end on the 30th.

Good Morning/Afternoon/Evening all

I also checked the progress of vsc and saw couple of july filers are already approved which is really a good sign for us. Now we can also expect approvals from csc for july soon. Keep your hopes up and lets stay posstive and i am sure something very good will come up this week or maybe i can say the dream which i saw last night will come true :)

Guys i just wish that we all will be with our loved ones on new years day. Margarita and me are planning our wedding on new years day only. Well hopes, hopes and hopes and i just can't stop listening to High Hopes by floyd :)

VSC looks at if they are trying to do a blitz and approve as many petitions as possible. Look at their bar chart. VSC is hovering around 60-75% for March and past that. CSC (except for about 85% for April, is at 90%+ up until June. VSC is trying to get their numbers to look lower so are processing the easy ones and leaving a lot behind.

Hi guys and happy tuesday to you all!

How are you all doing this day? I see you guys are getting impatient, I think we all are, but we just got to hang in there. It WILL be our turn soon, and our timelines run from october - we still got days left of september, so let's just buckle down and get ready for a hopefully wild ride through october approvals! This step is such a hard one, but remember once this is done everything WILL speed up and there will be medicals, interviews and such to concentrate on instead of just sitting passive on a stand by. Cause I think that's one of the reasons why we get so impatient, the ball is not in our court right now so all we can do is wait. Without a certain date.. so no wonder we feel all up in the air. BUT we're getting there, and we are one day closer now. That counts for something right?! Like someone said earlier up in the thread, we don't have many days left and october is our month! So hang in there, guys

Hi Everybody

I sent I-129F by end of July-09, my check was cashed on 08/10/09, but I did NOT received the receipt from USCIS, I just called them and they confirmed my address and they told me that my case is pending,

do I need to ask them to send me the receipt again?

thanks

Raf

No, if you look on the back of your check you can find the case number and use it to monitor your case and sign up for email or mobile updates on uscis.gov.

YOU WILL HOWEVER, need to keep a copy of the NOA2 that they send you. I believe that form is needed when you file the Adjustment of Status after the wedding.

I don't know, would it hurt to ask for a copy of the NOA1? I mean, its an official document and may be nice to have, although not completely necessary. I guess only if something should ever come up and they misplace your application you have their document (NOA1) to show they did have it.

Either way, NOA2 is what we NEED! Where is it already?!?! Ugh, I'm stressing now that VSC is passing us up after being way behind :help::crying: I knew I should have taken them donuts!
