1 in 4? More like 1 in 16 believe "definite hoax" and 1 in 20 undecided (total of 1 in 9 at best, about half of Mrs. Squirrel's claim--maybe she only used VJ results, which are hardly meaningfully representative).

I used to copyedit an astronomy education journal. Science teachers, particularly astronomy and physics teachers, have a whole lotta student misconceptions to deal with!

So many conspiracies exist but isn't it easier to actually land on the Moon than to orchestrate such a massive conspiracy to fake such a landing? If not, I'll be surprised that the many, many people involved before in the moon landing project (scientists, astronauts, engineers, technicians, skilled laborers, govt.) were able to keep the secret a secret.

So yeah, not sure what to think.

My uncle was a NASA engineer who worked on every Apollo mission and supported the White Team at Mission Control on Apollo 11.

He always laughs when people talk about a conspiracy because nearly half a million people worked on the moon project over a period of 10 years - how could they all not only kept a secret but got all their stories straight? Certainly the scientists who worked on the project were not in on any "hoax" and they were engineers not actors.

to me with all i have seen on the conspiracies its seems it was a hoax.

and it is evidant from the history that human beings could only fly after a lot experimenting and trials and lsot lives too not to mention the money.

and they were going outside the world for the first time with no experience of how the outside of the world would like be.so to me its impossbile to conquest moon in very first attempt.

still who knows the truth except for the spacemen and others involved.

i have read somewhere to cover up they got many of them who were connected to event killed.
