Now I know the name of where I proposed to my fiancee. It wasn't at a cafe shop...oops. It was at an ice cream shop named Pinky's in Ho Chi Minh. Anybody been there? I didn't do the ring in the ice cream thing though. I just went ahead and asked her. I didn't like the ring in the ice cream thing because what if she swallows it...lol and also would be too sticky afterward. :)

Oooh! That would NOT be funny!

I saw a video on youtube of a guy who proposed to his fiancee by tying the ring to the string of a heart shaped helium balloon. He gave her the balloon, and then got on his knees in a park to propose. She let go of the balloon... :o
