All of you talk about being "touched". I don't really know what you mean. But I do know that I long to be touched by my fiancé again. :cry:

Hi Mandy,

a "touch" is when USCIS has done something w/ your case... you may not know what, it may just be a pile shuffle :P - but the way you know you've been "touched" is when the date changes on your case. Like for 2 months the USCIS website showed the same date on it - the date our case was recieved/logged in. Then after my RFE was returned and recieved by them, the date changed 4 out of 5 days. So, it reflected only 5/2/06 for 2 months, then it showed 7/4/06, 7/5/06, 7/7/06, and finally 7/8/06.

It's just some kind of movement on the case - it's usually good!

But, yeah, it's nothing like being "touched" by my sweetie :( . But enough touches from USCIS may just get my sweetie here, then, well, you know.... ;)

Dec. 31, 2006 - OUR WEDDING!!! Ringing in a New Year as husband & wife!

Jan 8, 2007 - applied for SSN

Jan 15, 2007 - recieved SSN

Feb 6, 2007 - checks cashed for AOS/EAD/AP - YAY!

Feb 8, 2007 - NOA1 on AOS/EAD/AP

Feb 14, 07 - touched EAD/AP

March 8, 07 - Biometrics appt in NOLA

April 17, 07 - AP approved

April 19, 07 - EAD approved
