Hello everyone, Thanks for all the info. here I found, many of them are very useful. And I hope that we all can be very lucky get through this and finally be together with our love. My situation here is I got my package 3 letter, and I returned the form DS-230 to the US embassy in Singapore, the nice lady there told me to start to prepare all the listed documents in P3, when I have done all the documents, I need to return the checklist page with my signature, then they will arrange the interview for me. I asked the lady normally how long it will take after the checklist got by them, she told me it's about 1 month. I asked my friend to get the Police Cert. Report for me in China, it will be done by the end of month and I can get the Singapore one on July 24. My husband is still on business trip, as he go back USA, he will prepare the AOS form and support documents from bank and company. He said it would not take long, could done by the end of month. My daugher (10-year-old, live with my parents in China) will come to Singapore to visit me from Aug 8- Aug 25, I didn't get the P3 letter before I bought tickets for my daughter and my parents :( , so I am wondering if I can submit the checklist before I have done the documents, then I can get the interview appointment during my daughter and my parents are in Singapore, and I still can prepare my documents before the appointment. and my daughter and I also can have the medical check during she is here. Sisters and Brothers, how do you think about that....if I should submit my checklist papare before I have done the documents to get a interview appointment first? Thanks a lot for help

Sorry, forgot to say that I am Singapore PR here, and I will have my interview in Singapore with K3, K4 visa application.

If I follow you.... you want to send back the packet 3 checklist before you have everything completed?

you can do that, just make sure that you have everything you need in time for the interview day. It would be pain if you didnt have everything completed and all of your paperwork ready on the date of the interview.

Good Luck.

Timeline: 13 month long journey from filing to visa in hand

If you were lucky and got an approval and reunion with your loved one rather quickly; Please refrain from telling people who waited 6+ months just to get out of a service center to "chill out" or to "stop whining" It's insensitive, and unecessary. Once you walk a mile in their shoes you will understand and be heard.

Thanks!

Hi, thanks a lot for your concern and reply, yes, I want to send back the packet 3 checklist before I have everything completed, and you are right, I have to be very carefully about the time schedule. Anyway, feel better that you say I can do that, I hope my daughter no need to fly here twice on the very close dates. Thanks again, and good luck too! My English is not good, so hope you can understand my words :)
