I don't know about k3 but i think I-130 and I-129F are treated differently therefore they would assign two numbers to you.

Maybe your petition got separated... wait a few days and see what happens.

Wait the 2-4 weeks I suppose. =( But how do they know it's there but AVR doesn't know. Hmm, the confusions.

But I finally got my passport in my married name. It's so pretty

Sounds like USCIS did not forward the I-130 to NVC, are you sure they approved the I-130 or just the I-129F?

Just got back from the post office. mailed the CIvil documents. Now waiting begins. Documents wont be delivered before Monday , noon. So pray, i get a september Interview date.

i called the operator again. she said that the person who told me it was in the building lied to me. and they havent recieved it yet. when i called uscis last they said they sent it on last friday. and they did send NOA2 to us. its a hard copy approved on July 13th. and also we r not doing fiance visa. we r doing CR1/IR1. this is an approval of the I 130 since july 13th. what the hell are they doing that it takes that long to send it in the mail from california to new hampshire? also when u check uscis website it still is not updated online. this is all so damn confusing. when r these people gonna get it right?

I blame USCIS. It seems that NVC has their act together more so than USCIS (excluding the guy who lied to you). But maybe they're still waiting for enough files to send? :> Regardless I hope it gets there soon and I hope Beth, sdw, sunflower, and everyone else gets their NOA2's. And California and New Hamsphire are on the opposite sides of the country. Maybe they're doing the slowest mail option LOL?

My I-130 was approved on 7/20/09. I called NVC this evening and my case number was assign today. I spoke to an agent after i received the case number just to confirm the number i hear was right, and i asked the agent if it will be acceptabe to email the DS-3032 and she said yes. I called my husband this evening, to share the good news, he didn't answer, cuz he was asleep. I was hoping he did. I will call him tomorrow morning and tell him to email the DS-3032 to NVC.
